Providence will be fine this year on the court..but I can't really wrap my head around the idea that some 5th year guys will be eligible while others won't. And I won't even get into the idea that some teams have 23 year old former pros on the roster somehow eligible.

My reaction to Joseph Pinion and Derek Simpson not receiving the TRO: 1. How they could make this ruling with the season now starting is so laughable and discredits anything after that 2. We had guys essentially playing 7-8 years of college basketball and football literally a season ago 3. We are going to let European pros who made millions play over actual college athletes

Will be interesting to see how many players who thought they were done with college, now want to return, won’t be academically eligible for 1st semester. Some just bailed on classes after season ended last year. NCAA has “6-Credit Hour Rule" - to stay eligible to compete in next regular term, must pass at least 6 degree-applicable credit hours during last full-time semester.
