I’m thrilled to be rejoining @RedNinetyFour on Substack. Like my work for Red94.net, I will be focusing on the business side of the @HoustonRockets. My first piece contains my thoughts on @ToyotaCenter and the #Fertitta family’s RE strategy:

this quote from Carl Jung hits so hard.
“The world is full of people suffering from the effects of their own unlived life. They become bitter, critical, or rigid, not because the world is cruel to them, but because they have betrayed their own inner possibilities. The artist who never makes art becomes cynical about those who do. The lover who never risks loving mocks romance. The thinker who never commits to a philosophy sneers at belief itself. And yet, all of them suffer, because deep down they know: the life they mock is the life they were meant to live.”

New Tesla Megapack factory in Houston
🇺🇸 TESLA HIRING FOR $200M MEGAFACTORY OUTSIDE HOUSTON
Tesla is bringing clean energy muscle to Brookshire, Texas, and they’re hiring like crazy.
41 jobs are open now, from welders to engineers, all stamped with one word: “Megafactory.”
The site will mirror Tesla’s California Megafactory that cranks out 10,000 utility-scale Megapacks per year.
They’re leasing 2 massive buildings, investing over $200M in automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing tech.
By 2028, they’ll employ at least 1,500 people in the region and must stay at that level for a decade.
Brookshire’s getting transformed from logistics corridor to clean energy hotspot.

‘Phoenix’ is a collection of new music I've composed over the last few months on my modular. All tracks recorded in one live take with no further processing.

Love this story where Badalamenti & Lynch discover that
the MIDI notation of Laura Palmer's Theme actually resembles twin peaks.
"I showed David the photo and told him what it was, and he just started shouting, ‘It’s cosmic! It’s cosmic! It’s cosmic!’"
