Cloudy, calm, and comfortable to start the week. Monitoring changes by midweek.
Cloudy and calm conditions that we found Sunday continue to start the week. While drier air is still in place, by midweek things will feel a lot more humid. Eventually, this will help bring back an isolated rain chance. Halloween could be soggy, but doesn't look like a washout.

Not a bad way to start the workweek! Morning temperatures range from the mid-to-upper 50s across the Brazos Valley. The drier air will stick around for about another 24 hours before humid air returns. Morning temperatures will climb as a result.

Beautiful weather sticks with us through the weekend! We'll trade the clear blue skies for partly cloudy conditions by Sunday as we pull in additional moisture and high pressure inches east. We're still monitoring late next week for a pattern change.

Stuck in a pleasant weather pattern through the weekend with changes brewing for late next week.
Cool mornings. Warm days. Wash, rinse, and repeat! We'll stay stuck in this weather pattern this weekend before the ridge starts to break down early next week. That will eventually take us into a more active weather pattern by the end of next week, with rain chances returning.

Keeping things consistent with the forecast through the weekend.
Cool mornings, warm afternoons, sunny skies, and dry conditions continue through the weekend. While the weather is pleasant, many of us are wondering when the rain will return. We have a few chances on the horizon, most likely toward the end of the month.

Well, it's Groundhog Day... again. But I don't think many are complaining! We'll enjoy another cool morning before highs climb just a touch warmer than yesterday, into the mid-80s. Warm, comfortable, and dry conditions persist through the weekend.

If you wanted the jacket yesterday morning, you'll likely be reaching for it again today. Slightly drier air overnight has pushed temperatures into the mid- to low 50s. We'll once again find afternoon highs climbing into the lower 80s.

Perfectly pleasant weather is in store this week, with a slight warming trend settling in.
We have stumbled into a perfectly pleasant weather pattern for the rest of the week. Cool and crisp mornings will lead to warm but comfortable afternoons, with a subtle warming trend through the back half of the week. As for rain chances, they're not looking great for now.

Another crisp and cool start for your Tuesday! It's cool enough that some of us may want a light extra layer as we head out the door. You won't need it all day, as highs climb to the low 80s with plenty of sunshine. A perfectly pleasant day lined up!

Get ready for some big changes to close out the week!
Big changes blow in early Friday, as fall air finally arrives. While an isolated shower is possible early Friday, our main concern is gusty north winds. Tie down any Halloween decor, hold onto your small dogs and children, and get ready for much cooler air!

FALL IS ON THE WAY, I SWEAR This morning feels much more comfortable thanks to drier air that moved in overnight. We'll start slightly cooler, but afternoon highs are still slated for the lower 90s. Changes arrive late tonight and early Friday as our fall front moves through!

Another sticky, steamy, summer-like day ahead before changes arrive Friday.
Steamy summer air is sticking around! We'll be in the thick of it for the next 24 hours before slightly drier air moves in on Thursday. Fall air arrives Friday morning, packing a punch with gusty winds! Hold onto your hats and get ready for fall feels this weekend!

A sticky start to the morning before near-record heat moves in this afternoon. If we are going to find rain, today looks like our best shot, but that's not saying much. Coverage will be isolated at best, with most staying dry. Do not fret; fall air is on the way!

Gulf air has returned to the Brazos Valley this morning, and we will be feeling it for the next few days.
Gearing up for a steamy few days before some much-deserved fall air arrives. With the added moisture, we'll watch for showers and a few rumbles over the next few days. Drier air will move in just ahead of our next front, lowering rain chances in the back half of the week

Brazos Valley Summer Part 2: Electric Boogaloo Don't get used to the cool mornings! Humidity and the heat will climb this week on both sides of the clock. With the added moisture, we'll watch for scattered afternoon showers today through Wednesday.

Cool mornings and toasty afternoons through the weekend, but changes settle in next week.
Fall-ish in the mornings, but Hot-tober takes over the afternoons this weekend. It won't be humid, so it'll feel slightly more bearable. Enjoy it, because humidity surges next week and we'll feel more like summer. But some changes are brewing as our next weather maker approaches.

We're continuing to monitor Isaias. Currently a Cat 2 storm, with the latest forecast strengthening to a Cat 3 later this afternoon. If it does so, Isaias would be the first major hurricane of the season. The only local impacts we expect to find is drier and hotter air moving in.

Staying toasty through the rest of the week as we watch for indirect impacts from Hurricane Isaias.
Settling into Hot-tober! Afternoon highs will stay in the low 90s as we wrap up the week, with more of the same into the weekend. Drier air on the west side of Isaias will keep our weather quiet through the weekend. We'll have to watch for some changes early to mid next week.
