Drawing is a powerful way to learn—but teachers sometimes need to scaffold the process. Try standing at the whiteboard and asking students clarifying questions as you draw, like “What do you mean?" and "How should I draw it?” ✅
ALT DID YOU KNOW? Students who draw new information remember nearly twice as much as students who write about, speak about, or visualize it. But be careful: When kids draw complex materials on their own, they can inadvertently commit mistakes to memory.
