So still waiting to see a doc although they have run tests. Still no room in hospital or in ER bay. PA announcement just said ER could not accept more patients. This is a BIG hospital. Damn the unvaccinated. They have made life hell for a lot of people.
Welcome to the reality of the Covid crisis in Florida. My cardiologist tried to admit me to the hospital but there are no rooms because of Covid. Had to go ER route. Place is a teaming and the waiting room stretches into hallways. Wait for some is 15 hours. Get the damn vaccine.

We've known This Place is special.
But sometimes, you need to take a moment to reflect.
Here’s the Ted Lasso biscuits recipe. As you know, the Brits refer to cookies as biscuits so these are a buttery shortbread. Don’t put gravy on these biscuits! thekitchn.com/the-official-t…
Made the Ted Lasso biscuits tonight. Shoutout to @murrs_law (David Murray) for finding and sharing the recipe.

It’s not bricklaying or shipbuilding, but writing is work. For Labor Day, here are nine writers on working with words. We start with Jack London: “You can’t wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club.”
I’m just as happy as everyone else that college football is back. But seeing these massive, maskless crowds makes me worry about what the Covid numbers will do this week.
How low can you go?

Art is a lot of things, but watchdog isn’t one of them. I just came home after being gone an hour. He could care less. Don’t interrupt my nap with Scooby!
Thanks, Ron.
Florida just reported 1,338 deaths from COVID-19 to the @CDCgov today. This is the highest death toll we've seen in a single report. It should shock us to the core.
Florida also added 21,392 new cases.
Mask up. Vaccine. Be safe.
Never flying @Allegiant again. Two older people in row behind and across from me aren’t wearing their masks — hanging from their chins. WTF. And we are headed to Florida!
Supposed to fly back to FL tonight. Maybe I should stay in Indiana.
Florida just reported the most new COVID-19 cases of the pandemic to the @CDCgov: 27,584.
Mask indoors. Get vaccinated. Protect yourself.
