After reading the headlines, I’m reminded of a sermon my preacher first preached in 1999. He compared what Christians considered socially acceptable in 1999 to what they considered acceptable in 1899 and 1949, emphasizing that “when sin is no longer considered sin.”

LEAVE THE AMISH ALONE...
I live in rural agricultural SW Ohio on almost 4 acres in the country. There are beautiful vibrant communities of Amish, Mennonite, German Baptist and Quaker families all within a 15 mile radius of my home.
Everyday, I hear horse drawn carriages, with their clippity clop cadence pass my house, I look up and we wave to each other with a nod and a smile.
They are unvaccinated, healthy, strong, active and without the plethora of chronic diseases plaguing american children and adults today.
They provide further data and evidence to my decision to remain vaccine free the last 54 years. And evidence for my unvaccinated healthy grandchildren who are illness free today.
I support them, stand with them, and frequent their farmer's market shops every week for pastured eggs, organic meat and toxin free produce.
They have my utmost respect. I welcome every family to Ohio, who makes the decision to leave New York.
I first saw this picture when I was around 9 or 10 years old. From that moment on, I was smitten with Dolly.
I was a huge fan of her music and her persona.

Arizona State University filed to use eminent domain to steal a 124 year old Phoenix home from a senior homeowner
The man who owns it is a 89 year old senior citizen who’s owned the home for 50 years
ASU says they need the land for their downtown health campus
ASU made multiple purchase offers, they’ve offered up to $850,000 for the home. The homeowner keeps refusing. So now they plan to just take the home with eminent domain
If eminent domain goes through he’ll be forced to accept the appraisal price
