The reveal won’t happen until I’m running drug lists for 2026.
And with these 5 on the list (Eliquis, Xarelto,Januvia, Entresto and Jardiance) it will be a game changer. They aren’t hitting the $2K but are spending around $1800 annually at the pharmacy.
What do Biden’s drug price comparisons reveal? Not much.

80% of Medicare Recipients don’t review their Annual Notice of Change.
Don’t follow the crowd this year. Be part of the 20% and check your Part D or Medicare Advantage benefits starting October 1 with your agent or at Medicare.gov.
And if your agent isn’t reaching out to you every year, find a new one.

This is why seniors need agents who understand the drug pricing game. The first drug he mentions is Teriflunomide, $25-ish on GoodRX. But it applies to the deductible on Part D, so $100 a month until the deductible is reached. Except at one pharmacy, where its $150 a month.

Buckle up, folks.
The Medicare Advantage Plans will most likely have higher drug costs and in many cases, a drug deductible for the first time in 2025.
Don't be part of the 80% of Medicare Recipients that don't review their plan each year. Review your plans for 2025.

Average premiums for drug coverage are much lower in Medicare Advantage drug plans than in stand-alone plans, mainly because most enrollees are in zero-premium plans. Medicare Advantage plan sponsors can use rebates to buy down the Part D premium. kff.org/medicare/issue-brief…
