Everyone is giving misinformation on the timeline, so here is what happened.
- kimchi Twitter allegedly got hacked
- kimchi Twitter changed location to "project kimchi"
- kimchi posted an SI (fka AI) image
- SI image had a QR code
- When you scan the QR, it went to a Pump coin
- Coin was a newly deployed "project kimchi" coin
- kimchi's public wallet was sent 50% of the supply
- Coin went 2.2M in minutes and then dumped a bit
- Right when it dumped, @a1lon9, founder of @Pumpfun retweeted kimchi's post
- Coin immediately candled to 15M and stayed there for a minute
- Alon then deleted the retweet
- Market Bubble tweeted kimchi got hacked
- Alleged hacker deleted everything Pump related from kimchi bio
- Alleged hacker deleted every Pump related tweet from kimchi account
Result:
- No explanation from kimchi on other socials
- No explanation from Pumpfun, no tweets since incident
- No explanation from Alon, no tweets since incident
@Pumpfun once again extracted an insane amount, their biggest marketing spend to the day ruined lives of many traders' who believed to their marketing campaign.
