We really need to stop calling events where people burn buildings down and loot and rob people “protests.”

This is one of the most fraudulent fake news headlines of the year, and that is not for lack of competition. RFK Jr explicitly argued that curtailing constitutional rights suppressed free speech and open debate, which in turn produced catastrophic public health failures. The argument was never public health versus constitutional rights. It was that respecting constitutional rights leads to better public health outcomes.

During the AIDS crisis Dr. Fauci blocked access to the antibiotic Bactrim to create the market for AZT; 30,534 people then died from a treatable form of pneumonia.

A 14-year-old ranch kid from Big Timber, Montana, had a rope in his hand when cries for help erupted from the Yellowstone River. He sprinted into the water, threw one loop and caught a struggling man around the arm and neck, pulling him safely to shore.

That’s just not true.
No person would be turned away from voting.
Any person without documentation would be able to sign an attestation.
The SAVE America Act does NOT require proof of citizenship for those already registered to vote.
Why don’t you suggest an amendment which would allow remote Alaskan voters to attach a copy of their proof of citizenship + photo ID to an absentee ballot?
It’s completely disingenuous to say you don’t have the time to implement the SAVE America Act
when you could have passed it last year.
It’s equally as bad to say that you support photo ID & proof of citizenship when you won’t even offer suggestions for how to earn your support on this legislation.
Looks like I’ll have to travel to Alaska to ask the voters themselves.
I support voter ID and believe that only U.S. citizens should vote in our elections. But the SAVE America Act goes beyond that and provides no time for proper implementation. It would ultimately disenfranchise some Americans in rural communities, so I oppose it.

Mamdani's new proposed salary would pay him more than the combined salaries of the Governor of Florida & Texas. NYC Council Members would earn more than Members of Congress and the state legislators in all 50 states. Legalized robbery.
NYC Council members want to give themselves 18.2% pay hike - and set automatic increases every year after trib.al/oKtqizL
They were SHOT.
I can’t believe someone got paid to write this headline.

What an appalling speech the Mayor of New York delivered for the 250th anniversary of the nation.
Sadly, it reflects the view of America propagated for years by Howard Zinn and his like-minded colleagues in the universities and believed by armies of the young: a dark, oppressive country where common people are denigrated by tyrants and oligarchs, where immigrants are treated with contempt, where those with “soft hands” hold the wealth created by those with dirty hands.
No sensible person would claim that our country is without flaws, but the relentlessly negative picture painted by Mayor Mamdani is just absurd.
And it is the fruit of the Marxism that, sadly, is all the rage today.

The communist doesn’t think to increase the quality of the grid. The communist demands that you decrease the quality of your life.
They make you ration the things that every other American gets to enjoy. Every single time.
New York ISO just issued an early warning that we must alleviate the strain on our energy grid statewide.
Please do your part in keeping our power on by:
•Setting your AC to 78 degrees.
•Turning off lights and unplugging electronics you’re not using.
•Waiting until early morning or late at night to run appliances like dishwashers or laundry machines.
During a historic heatwave, AC will save lives — but only if we keep the grid stable enough for it to stay on.

Not for nothing but us New Yorkers are so damn lucky. I live 3 blocks from the Verrazano bridge, right where all the action is going to take place this weekend starting with over a 100 tall ships coming under the bridge, and dozens and dozens of planes flying over it. Can't wait!
