The playoffs have arrived! Which means, we have a big #catchitkansas game of the week to get our postseason started. Goddard Lions at Eisenhower Tigers. This is the second meeting between the two this season, the lions taking the first victory, but this one matters more.

According to @MikeGarafolo, the day before Josh Simmons was placed on IR, he was told to leave a #Chiefs offensive team meeting after being asked to stop sitting with his feet up. He reports Simmons pushed back by telling Reid he had to sit that way because of pain.

Collin Klein says there are “more questions than answers” with Avery Johnson at the moment. There is no current timetable for his return. The plan is for Johnson to consult with K-State’s medical team over the next few days and then go from there.

Looks like Kenyon Giles was in action today for #WichitaState in their final preseason tune-up. He didn't play in Shocker Madness or the exhibition vs. Murray State because of injury. The Shockers hosted a closed-door scrimmage vs. Missouri State today in Koch Arena.

#KStateFB’s loss moves them now to 1-3 in #Big12 play in Collin Klein’s first year as head coach. It’s the Wildcats’ worst start to conference play since 2021.

CB L’Jarius Sneed is not traveling with the team today (personal) but will meet the team in Seattle. Sneed’s game status remains Questionable with a knee injury. We have signed LB Cooper McDonald to the active roster. McDonald's game status has been removed. He is no longer listed as Questionable.
