Our recent analysis from CMDR - using the bolus thermodilution technique CFR decreases with advancing age but increased age does not appear to significantly influence the prevalence of CMD or other key microvascular parameters such as IMR and MRR.

I'm thrilled to announce that we've completed randomizing 1252 pts with LVEF <40% and complex CAD to high-risk PCI with Impella CP support vs. control. Now we are in the 1-year follow-up phase and then the results of the PROTECT IV trial will be reported.

Just published in JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions – Image in Intervention: We report the first documented case of Venovo stent migration — a dedicated venous stent. Its design, including edge flaring and connected repeating structural units, posed unique challenges during retrieval.
Operators should be familiar with these technical considerations when planning transcatheter retrieval.
