Sometimes, becoming a better version of yourself means making decisions that other people won't understand. You start saying no to things that drain you. You stop participating in conversations that leave you feeling worse. You become more careful about where your time and energy go. Some people will support these changes. Others may need time to adjust. And that's okay. You don't have to assume that everyone who disagrees with your choices is against you. But you also don't need to abandon your progress just to keep everyone comfortable.
