Not a single news outlet has reviewed its coverage of Jason Arday, for accuracy or proportionality. Zero attempt has been made to conduct any inquiry into the media’s role in his death. Instead, the industry has moved into self-congratulatory mode. This isn’t just tone deaf, it betrays a systemic failure

Tomorrow (Thursday 29th) I'm appearing before the parliamentary committee scrutinising the draft Conversion Practices Bill. I've written in my newsletter about how extraordinarily dangerous this planned law is. Free to read thehelenjoyce.com/p/terf-isl…

This is utterly bonkers. How can one person (and presumably one producer) cover such an enormous brief. Education and social affairs are the things that affect millions of normal people. I am not a BBC basher, but how on earth does the corporation think this is public service?
NEW: BBC will no longer have a dedicated education editor as part of proposal that will see 100 jobs go across BBC News. School leaders call the plan “deeply regrettable” and ask for a rethink. Education/Social affairs editor jobs being combined. theguardian.com/media/2026/o…

So would we.
Nothing normalizes #surrogacy in a country quite like engaging in it at the highest level of government. I would like to see the human rights assessment underpinning this decision. #wensvader #draagmoeder

Heartbreaking that MPs have allowed this to go ahead. Too many chose to look the other way. It is indeed the medical scandal of our time.
🚨226 children, some as young as 11 years old, are about to be given £500 worth of shopping vouchers by the UK Government in order to undertake a puberty blockers trial, placing them on a pathway to infertility. This is the medical scandal of our time. jamesesses.co.uk/p/state-san…

🚨Announcement: My lawsuit against the Tavistock is going to trial this November. This is the first ‘anti-White’ harassment case against the NHS & the first 'colour-blind' belief case. I'm claiming my career was ended for disagreeing with Critical Race Theory & ‘anti-racism’ The claims I am bringing are discrimination, harassment, and victimisation. It will be a 20 day trial starting on 4th November with the judgement on 30th November. The Tavistock are calling 13 witnesses. In a recent hearing the judge agreed to include further claims of bullying and harassment as legal disclosure revealed that NHS senior staff at the Tavistock were openly calling me a “fascist” and a “racist” I do not currently have enough money to pay for the trial. Please, Please, donate, retweet & share my crowdfund:

I’m a past winner of the Orwell Prize & won partly because I exposed Vote Leave’s unlawful activities. Michael Gove was its co-convener & refused to answer a single q. He’s now a judge of the prize & our world is truly one that Orwell would recognise bylinetimes.com/2025/11/25/m…

Did @itvpeston ever cover any of the multiple meetings between Farage’s funders & the Russian embassy back in 2018? I can’t recall but maybe I’m mistaken. Was Farage ever asked why he voted in the pro-Kremlin bloc in the EU parliament? Or why Arron Banks thought Crimea is to Russia what the Isle of Wight is to Britain? Or why LeaveEU denied Russian involvement in Skripal?

The story is bigger than some petty media infighting. It caused me extreme stress & anxiety over years but it established key facts that are now on the record. That most of the UK press failed to report on them let alone understand them is its own story. theguardian.com/uk-news/comm…

When the Guardian went on strike to protest the Observer sale, I became a de facto spokesperson. Later a Tortoise employee I’d never met wrote to me to cancel my 20-year contract. No goodbye & no pay-off. This is how they now take credit for my work..but write me out of the story

Nobody did more to block the truth than Boris Johnson whose first act as PM was to ennoble the Baron of Siberia but he did not act alone. Nor did Keir Starmer make any attempt to disclose what the govt knew. But now the govt must tell us what it actually knows. 2/

NEW: Ten years on, Prime Minister @andyburnham tells @campbellclaret & @RoryStewartUK that there was ‘clear’ Russian interference in the Brexit vote. FINALLY after years of cover-ups & denials from the highest levels of the UK govt. That in itself deserves an inquiry. 1/

It's almost an Iron Law of Whistleblowing that the whistleblower ends up being investigated while whatever they are reporting is ignored
NHS Sussex and NHS England were formally warned Brighton trans doctor was out of control in 2020, documents show. Whistleblower alleges unknown number of children harmed as eventual investigation (which began in 2025) had limited scope. genderblog.net/nhs-knew-of-c…

“They were warned. Repeatedly. And did nothing.” An investigation into the prescribing of hormones & puberty blockers to gender-distressed children by a Brighton GP clinic is underway. But the NHS & GMC have heard concerns for five years and failed to act newstatesman.com/politics/he…

The defence the NHS is running in this case is completely nuts, both legally and medically.
We hope to report on the employment tribunal of Dr S Redvers vs NHS Sussex Integrated Care Board from tomorrow, 8 October 2026. Start time, not before 10 am.

Use cash locally. Every card swipe sends a cut to a bank and a data trail to a corporation. Cash doesn’t. It stays in the shop, pays the staff and circulates on your high street instead of vanishing into fees and algorithms. No tracking. No outages. No middleman. Spend it where you live. Keep the money where it matters - in your own community.
