Sergey Nalobin, a Russian ‘diplomat’ who launched the ‘Conservative Friends of Russia’ group has now been identified as a Russian intelligence officer involved in an attempted European disinformation campaign.
Nalobin called Boris Johnson a good friend and was quick to congratulate Vote Leave Chief Matthew Elliott on his engagement. Elliott was a founder member of the Conservative Friends of Russia, and in 2012 went on a 10-day trip to Moscow with all expenses paid by the Russian government.
The British authorities repeatedly refused to investigate Russian interference in the Brexit campaign and the UK’s broader politics. However, Nalobin was looking for a way to channel money into the Conservative Party in the early 2010s, and the Tories received many donations from Russian oligarchs resident in the UK. The article provides details of how Nalobin orchestrated Russian interference in Estonian politics, so it is very likely that he was playing the same role in the UK.
Putin wanted Brexit. The Tories delivered it, and unfortunately every British government since then has covered up the extent and nature of Russian interference in British politics.
Please repost if you demand that the government ends the conspiracy of silence and launches a full-scale investigation of Russian interference in British politics starting with the Conservative Friends of Russia and Farage's appearances on Russia Today.

Something something political interference.
Ynet: Trump demands Ben-Gvir’s exclusion from Netanyahu’s next coalition
——
Ynet sources close to US President Donald Trump said the president wants to "make sure" Netanyahu excludes Otzma Yehudit leader Itamar Ben-Gvir from his next government, with Religious Zionism leader Bezalel Smotrich also likely to be targeted for exclusion.
Sources close to Trump say the president considers a government that includes Ben-Gvir out of the question. This also explains why Trump claimed credit Wednesday morning for Netanyahu’s electoral gains as official results began emerging during the vote count. In doing so, Trump effectively reminded Netanyahu of the terms of their agreement and made clear that he would not back down from his demands.
As election results continue to come in, neither of Israel’s two main political blocs appears to have secured a clear majority to form a government. The focus is now on whether Trump will deepen his involvement in Israeli politics after endorsing Netanyahu ahead of the election, potentially seeking to broker a national unity government that brings together rival political parties.
Under the understanding reached between Trump and Netanyahu, the two leaders would prioritize Iran during the first of Trump’s two remaining years in office, aiming to bring a 'definitive end' to the US-Isreali war on Tehran. In Trump’s second and final year, Netanyahu could be required to step down, potentially through a plea bargain or another arrangement, while efforts to expand the Abraham Accords, which Trump considers a cornerstone of his legacy, advance.
Several Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, have already told the US president they will not pursue normalization with Israel while Netanyahu remains prime minister. Trump may therefore seek to establish a unity government with a rotating premiership to help advance the expansion of the Abraham Accords.

Well your brand of "Conservatism" is convoy support, bigotry, and idiocracy - thoughtfully communicated through running away from constituents and posting garbage on Social media

The Minister of Colleges & Universities gets a standing ovation at Queen's Park for refusing to resign.
The call came from the interim Liberal leader, who accused Nolan Quinn of continuing to send hundreds of millions of OSAP dollars to private career colleges despite warnings.

Great to be back at Queen’s Park today to be able to publicly hold this scandal-plagued government to account, this time over the OSAP grant and private career college scandal. In 2023, Career Colleges Ontario sounded the alarm. Nobody responded.
Ontarians deserve answers: Why was the warning ignored? And what is the Premier doing to get your money back?

OMG, watching sports has become an absolute rip-off! 🤬🏒
We used to order the NHL Centre Ice package through TELUS and get access to all the hockey games.
Now? You pay for Centre Ice, but certain games are exclusive to Sportsnet+, meaning you have to pay for another subscription just to watch them.
Want to watch the Edmonton Oilers? Good luck figuring out which service has the game that night.
And the best part? TELUS never even notified us about these changes, and now we're locked into a package that doesn't deliver what we expected.
We're paying more, getting less, and being forced to chase games across multiple subscriptions.
At what point did being a sports fan become a licence to rob people?

🇨🇦 TRUMP PUT A 50% TARIFF ON CANADIAN ALUMINUM. NOW CANADA IS SELLING MORE TO EUROPE, AND AMERICANS ARE PAYING MORE.
There’s just one problem with trying to make America less dependent on Canadian aluminum. America doesn’t produce nearly enough aluminum to meet its own needs.
Canada has long supplied most American imports of primary aluminum. Our hydroelectric-powered smelters produce a metal essential to U.S. automobiles, aircraft, construction and manufacturing.
Trump’s tariffs were supposed to strengthen American industry. Instead, American manufacturers are confronting soaring aluminum premiums while rebuilding domestic production remains enormously expensive and time-consuming.
Meanwhile, something rather inconvenient is happening for Washington.
According to today’s Wall Street Journal, Canadian aluminum shipments to Europe have increased 77% year over year through August.
Think about what that means. America is making Canadian aluminum more expensive for American businesses while encouraging Canadian producers to develop relationships with customers elsewhere.
And those relationships may outlast the tariffs themselves.
There’s nothing wrong with America wanting greater industrial independence. Canada should be pursuing the same objective. But creating domestic production capacity takes years, enormous investment and affordable electricity. Tariffs don’t magically produce any of those things.
So if Americans are paying more for aluminum while Canadians are finding new customers, who exactly is becoming less dependent on whom?

Corporate greed is Microsoft making $134 billion in profits last year, receiving $19 billion in tax breaks under Trump, paying a lower federal income tax rate than a nurse and getting rid of 60,000 workers.
“Corporations will create jobs if they get tax breaks” is a total scam.

With almost no media coverage, in great part because the majority of these villages were Shia, Israel has completely leveled 48 of 60 cities in Southern Lebanon.
It might be the single biggest ethnic cleansing campaign in modern history with the least international pushback.
Today, 48 of the roughly 60 villages and towns within Israeli-occupied southern Lebanon are mostly levelled, a NYT analysis has found. nytimes.com/interactive/2026…
