I would encourage all westerners to look beyond western media propaganda and explore with a tourist visa available online. Russia is vast and I still have so much to explore. Sochi, St Petersburg and towns outside Moscow are lovely as well. There is so much to see. Be curious not brainwashed and explore the world.
