About a month ago, the Tennessee Medical Association filed an amicus brief representing its 10,000 physician members. They said it was simply filed to seek clarity around the Tennessee abortion law. But when you read through the brief, you will see that it is much more than that.
Using our membership dues and our PAC contributions, together with attorneys who used to represent Planned Parenthood and the ACLU, along with organizations that are very proabortion, such as ACOG and Democracy Forward, along with a contributing TMA board member who is a plaintiff suing the state and the Tennessee medical board, they filed a brief that is a thinly veiled attempt attacking the Tennessee abortion law.
The concern isn’t that a brief was filed. The concern is that as a non-partisan organization representing 10,000 physicians, many of whom are pro-life, this was done without our knowledge, and released to the membership after the period for filling a rebuttal had expired. We are also concerned that they appear to have not engaged any pro-life physicians in drafting this brief, but relied on two OB/GYN board members who are ardent abortion advocates.
Please find screenshots of our open letter to the Tennessee Medical Association below. In the comments, I have also attached a Google link for any physicians, nurses, or pro-life individuals who would like to cosign this letter supporting our efforts and request that the TMA withdraw from this brief.
"Stand. Fight. Defend the Republic." Thanks to you @SecWar @PeteHegseth and our Commander in Chief @Potus @realDonaldTrump. Good words for all patriots.

MIDTERMS & JUKE BOX HEROES🧵
1/3
There’s a wonderfully instructive scene in the 1983 film The Right Stuff, a movie which chronicles the early days of the space program:
The men chosen to be America’s first astronauts are being wined and dined at a huge event in Houston at the newly opened Astrodome. Vice President LBJ sings their praises; beautiful women flirt with them; corporate America gives them Corvettes, luxury watches, and lucrative endorsements; and they are hailed as heroes. They bask in the glory knowing they’ve done nothing to deserve it.
The scene switches to the California desert.
Two men stand in a desolate landscape staring into a hangar. Test pilot Chuck Yeager and engineer Jack Ridley inspect the new Lockheed F-104 Starfighter, a plane created to push the very limits of space and overtake the Russians. “Shall we see what she can do?” asks Yeager.
The scene switches back to Houston and the smug astronauts. Although the best pilot, Yeager isn’t among them because the powers that be didn’t think he fit the All-American profile they wanted: handsome, college educated, and a smooth political operator. The astronauts shake hands, wave to the crowd, and the lights of the Astrodome dim as they seat themselves to watch burlesque dancer Sally Rand ascend the stage and begin her ostrich feather fan dance for them.
The scene switches again.
Yeager taxis down the runway, pulling the canopy of the F-104 down as he goes. There are no crowds to praise him, no glory to be won beyond the self-satisfaction that he is fulfilling the mission to which he has been assigned: To put the United States ahead of the Russians.
Back to the Astronauts. The sexy Sally Rand dances to Debussy’s Clair de Lune, each man feeling she’s dancing just for him.
Yeager rockets for the very edge of space with the soft elegance of Clair de Lune now serving as the background music for the drama in Houston and the one shaping up in the California desert. This subtlety hints at Yeager’s work in obscurity because it fits the astronauts’ celebratory event, not his bat out of Hell mission.
Something goes wrong. Yeager can see space; almost touch it. But the engines stall. The plane begins a death spiral. He fights for control as he plummets.
The astronauts, 1,500 miles away, are blissfully unaware.
Ridley sees an explosion on the desert horizon and a plume of black smoke. As he races to the crash site, the driver says: “Is that a man?” To which Ridley replies: “Yeah, you’re damn right it is!”
Yeager is burned horribly, but he nonetheless stands, his parachute and the burning husk of the F-104 behind him.
What novelist Tom Wolfe was doing — and the filmmakers after him — was juxtaposing the real work of beating the Russians vs the glamour sold to the public: One, but for rare moments, goes unsung and unnoticed. It involves great personal courage, nightmarish risks, and the condescension of those who have no idea what Yeager does. The other is the lights of Tinseltown, empty speeches, backslapping politicians, endless photo ops, and the reassurance that they really are heroes saving the world.
This brilliant contrast mirrors something I’ve been mulling for a long time: real cultural engagement and impact vs illusory cultural engagement and impact. I’m referring to social media. I think many conservatives mistake their likes and retweets for actually moving the needle. Moving as I do in the world of conservative “influencers” — the very term is ironic given what I’m saying — I try to push them to get off their phones and engage the world.
In part I do it for their own mental health. I can see how it hypes them or keeps them in a constant state of anxiety. I can also see them getting dopamine rushes when a tweet gets a lot of attention or they receive praise. I see their inability to read a real book from beginning to end — not just listen to one — or have a sustained conversation that doesn’t involve reaching for their phones multiple times….
Hold....
Midterms are complete. The standing 45-day process under Executive Order 13848 (signed 2018 and continued Aug. 31, 2026) is now running. This is not a new mechanism. It is the ordinary post-election assessment that has existed for years.
Section 1(a) requires the DNI to assess within 45 days whether any foreign government or agent acted with the intent or purpose of interfering. That lands around December 18. If material effects are found, Section 1(b) gives the Attorney General and Secretary of Homeland Security a follow-on report. Section 2 authorizes Treasury sanctions under IEEPA against foreign persons found to have engaged in or supported the interference.
States retain primary authority over the “times, places and manner” of elections. Federal tools remain assessments, criminal enforcement, funding conditions, DOJ monitoring, and sanctions against foreign actors. No provision in EO 13848 lets the President rewrite state certification rules or seize machines.
Sent to me by someone working the polls in Sumner county. @Hatley4Governor pulling out all the stops.
Today we must do our part & ensure they have a country worth fighting for. Vote Republican as @POTUS, their Commander in Chief, asked to give him the House & Senate majority he needs to keep us moving forward. They were abused during Biden & will be again if the Dems are any handed power.
GREAT news! This from my email alerts from the Nashville Banner (they don't do Twitter/X). A LOOOOONNNNG time in coming. This is sweet. Beverly Briley's descriptor of "40 jealous whores" will have to be amended. 😂🤣😂 nashvillebanner.com/2026/11/…
Exactly. If the Dems take control of either the House or the Senate, Trump's agenda, OUR agenda, will not be codified. It must be if the USA is to survive. If WE'RE to survive. @POTUS has asked us to vote Republican, let's do it. Fight, fight, fight!!

I’m not voting because Republicans have earned my vote.
I’m voting to buy our country enough time to replace the Republicans who don’t deserve my vote with Republicans who do.
If Democrats retake control of even one chamber, it’s game over.
Vote like your nation’s survival depends on it — because it does 🗳️

🚨 BREAKING: A Biden-appointed judge just ordered Trump’s viral "$5,000 to Americans" ad SCRUBBED right before the midterms.
They want to silence the truth, but it’s already backfiring massively. The establishment is terrified.
Do NOT let them censor this. RETWEET AND SHARE EVERYWHERE! 🇺🇸

🚨 CENSORED: A Biden-appointed judge in SDNY just ordered the Trump administration to DELETE this video of the President promising Americans $5,000 if Republicans win.
Judge Jennifer Rochon called it "purely partisan" and ordered it scrubbed from every government website and social account, days before the election.
The order covers the GOVERNMENT. It doesn't cover YOU.
Watch it. Share it. Let every voter hear it.
Not actually counting on this money but I'm just annoyed enough at the current judicial overreach to assert my 1A right to free speech in support of my @POTUS @realDonaldTrump. Vote Republican Tuesday. Give him the majority he needs to finish the job we sent him to do.

I agree with my Christian friends that many of the blessings of America are the blessings of their Christian faith brought to fruit. I have therefore written this short letter to them about why it has worked here in America so much more than anywhere else.

Poland's history -- it was the first to be invaded by Hitler in WWII.
Later, it was invaded from the east by the Soviet Union, acting in accordance with secret protocols in the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact.
VOTE! Do it for your children, your grandchildren, your neighbors. Vote Republican because we don't want to fall back on the Biden years. @POTUS needs a bigger majority in the House & Senate. Do what you can to give that to him--he's given us so much already.
Elections have consequences.
There are a lot of people right now trying to convince you that America isn’t worth preserving. Some want you to believe this country was rotten from the beginning, others want you to believe it is too far gone to save, and some are simply just sitting this one out.
But as my husband often said, “no black pilling!”
Take that to heart. If you sit out an election because you are disappointed with Republicans, you don’t get an empty government for two years. Somebody still wins and then they get to govern and they will use the power you handed them to turn this great country into one that is unrecognizable.
You inherited the freedom to vote. Don’t squander it.
