Nvidia wants to ship AI data centers in shipping containers. With its new DSX POD design, partners like Dell and HPE build the computers, cooling and wiring in a factory, so a ready site can be running in about 14 days instead of six months. First ones arrive in early 2027.

OpenAI just bought Orchestra Bio, a startup whose AI agents help drug companies keep track of studies, timelines and delays. It's joining Rosalind, OpenAI's tools for science research. OpenAI says a new medicine takes 10 to 15 years from first idea to approval in the US.
Banks still run on COBOL, a programming language from 1959 that OpenAI says handles 95% of ATM transactions. OpenAI says its newest models got far better at it. On its test of moving old COBOL programs to modern languages, its older model got 5.4% right and GPT-6.1 Sol got 86.6%.
Eugenia Kuyda, who started the AI companion app Replika, just launched Wabi 2.0, an AI helper that lives in your group chat. Anyone in the thread can ask it to pick dates for a trip, update the family calendar, or grab tickets for a show. Her launch post passed 1.2 million views.
Tim Sweeney, who runs Epic Games, says AI will bring a new golden age of gaming, because games that cost too much to make will finally be worth building. He says about 70% of his time writing the first Unreal Engine was just typing routine code, the part AI does now.
