On September 26, 2026, @SabrinaMaddeaux and I officially tied the knot!
We had an incredible day surrounded by friends and family who travelled near and far to be a part of our special day!
I cried (a lot), we danced, we sang, but most importantly I was reminded how great life can be when you get to spend the rest of your life with your best friend.
Cheers to a great day filled with amazing people, lots of love, laughs, and memories! Here's to a lifetime more to be made! ♥️

A day we will never forget! ♥️
Meet the Sheppards 🥂
@KeithRSheppard and I made it official as husband and wife!
It’s not that it looks like AI. It’s the messaging and how it’s directed which makes it look like AI.
Especially the first line…
That why it’s not believable to swing voters or undecideds.
Which is why people think it’s fake. Because the candidate isn’t selling the message, which comes down to how it was directed.
It’s like having an A-list Hollywood cast, with a shitty director. No one’s going to like the movie lol.
🤷♂️
If this isn't AI, it worked hard to look like AI. Also, using AI in a campaign ad feels oddly perfect for Brad Bradford
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The video ad is not AI-generated. It was professionally filmed and produced by humans using real crew and equipment, per BTS photos and statements from the production team.

Eric, you stepped up and conducted yourself with drive, passion and purpose. I know that won’t change and I know it’s given Liberals a lot to think about.
As you said, we both see the opportunities ahead for Ontario and the Liberal Party, even if we don’t agree on everything. Building a stronger economy, giving young people the best start, and not being content doing the same old conventional politics the same old way. To deliver change to Ontario, and get the Liberals back on the field, it’s going to take all of us at our best working together.
I’m grateful for your endorsement and your support. I’m looking forward to your policy advice especially on the economy, housing and infrastructure. Change is coming to Ontario and together with Liberals across the province, we are ready for the fight.

Today I am ending my campaign.
I am grateful to everyone who shared our belief that Ontario Can Still Win. This is just the end of the beginning.
I am also proud to endorse Lee Fairclough (@LFairclo) for Ontario Liberal Leader and Premier of Ontario.
Major loss for the CPC. Sooner or later something’s gotta give.
@ScottAAitchison you’ve been a great voice to have in the House, and overall you’re just a great guy. I’ve always appreciated our conversations. You’ll be missed.
Another Conservative MP is heading out

This is what a healthy political climate/discourse looks like:
1) Understands the differences but acknowledges the strengths.
2) Not afraid to publicly say the above and brave enough to say he’s joined because of the person and their ideas.
3) This kind of character and attitude grows political tents. It doesn’t shrink them.
And to those who publicly disagree… Well, that checks out.
Huge kudos to you @strauss_matt. Phenomenal character on your part!
Today, I joined the Ontario Liberal Party in order to vote for Eric Lombardi, @EricDLombardi, in the upcoming leadership contest.
My involvement in politics has always been about advancing actual liberalism: expanding human freedoms. Free speech, free trade, free choice.
It is unfortunate that the Liberal Party of Canada, especially under Justin Trudeau, became the opposite of its namesake; always advancing leftist control.
In some ways, Eric is to my fiscal left and would spend more money than I would like to see. But he's a true liberal: open to new ideas, protective of freedoms, and able to call out authoritarian-progressive idiocy where he sees it. Also, he is blisteringly intelligent, hardworking, and refreshingly candid.
It would be good for Ontario to have a proper Liberal option in the next election (rather than a content-free ex-Trudeau cabinet minister.) It would fantastic for Waterloo region to have a UW engineer at the centre of our politics.
If you agree, please sign up to vote for Eric!

Carney's sweeping conflict of interest screens seem less about protecting the government from corruption and more about preserving his image and poll numbers.
Meanwhile, they're blocking him from key decisions across the most urgent issues of the day.
Using these screens as political shields is itself a kind of self-dealing.

Erin O’Toole isn’t a liberal.
He’s been instrumental on trade and my MP always had respect for him. If you truly want to see movement on bigger files like this you need diverse voices with experience in this area and relationship building.

This take is pretty wild.
Anyone with even the smallest level of EQ can see how behaviour like this from a staffer is simply unacceptable. This isn’t how you build relationships OR try and mend them with media.
“Attitude reflects leadership, captain.”
A quote we should all be mindful of lately, from one of the greatest movies of all time, Remember the Titans.
The entitlement levels are off the charts.
The CBC complaints went independent media gets questions and even lobbies for them to be barred from certain events.
But if the CBC isn’t given a question at one press conference, the journalist will crash out and start a verbal fight with CPC communications workers.
