He couldn't have paraphrased if it was so memorable and meaningful...?
Piers is a prick most of the time but he did well here to let this wanker make an absolute dick of himself.
Lovely stuff.
Ach adorable! The wee man likes Lucid Talk polls today despite previously dismissing them as skewed and unreflective of NI 😂 🤷🏼♀️ hard to keep up tbh
Comical.
Its 'in the can'!, - the LT Autumn26 Belfast Telegraph NI 'Tracker' Poll (poll: 29th-31st October, 3,989 NI rep. sample). Topics: NI Assembly vote, Party-Leader ratings, Drumcree, NI Border Referendum, & more... Results in the @BelTel from tmrw 6/11, with analysis by @SuzyJourno
Unmasked people, men, women and children, playing music, making sandwiches, singing and chatting - a mob of thugs.
Masked men being encouraged to remain calm by an MP who by her own admission 'prevented a bloodbath' - not a mob of thugs....
Got it 🫠cool, okay, yup
The biggest Carla Lockhart ick...referring to herself in the third person. Cringe.

Political unionism is tearing itself apart again, and the spectacle is extraordinary
Carla Lockhart is leaving the DUP because its leadership won't bring down Stormont over Drumcree. Bryson swans around Stormont as though he has an electoral mandate, in his wonderful leisure suit, while Jim Allister is back on Nolan pontificating about the IRA. WTF is going on; it’s like a reality show gone bad.
Jimbo appears to have dusted off the old playbook from his Ulster Resistance rally days. Decades later, the IRA and Sinn Féin still dominate his political sermons. Yet where is the equivalent outrage about the UVF, UDA and the continuing criminality of loyalist paramilitaries? Even after the revelations this week around bombs and ammunition finds, Loyalist organisations murdered innocent people too, Jimbo, just an FYI. Today, paramilitary intimidation, organised crime and illegal weapons remain serious problems in the very Protestant communities these individuals claim to defend. Jimbo, terrorism is NOT culture simply because its perpetrators wrap themselves in a Union flag.
Then there's Saint Carla, apparently imagining she can resurrect an old-style unionism that bypasses nationalism and treats Catholic voices as an inconvenience. Carla, this isn't the NI of the 1970s. Catholics and nationalists are equal citizens. Sinn Féin is the largest party in the Assembly, and no amount of political grandstanding can erase its democratic mandate. Power-sharing means sharing power, not demanding that the other community disappear whenever you dislike its politics. And the irony of Carla preaching unionist unity while walking out of her own party is remarkable.
Meanwhile, Bryson continues his endless campaign of confrontation, seemingly mistaking political attention for democratic legitimacy. He has even dumped the suit and is circulating Stormont in a fecking tracksuit.
What an extraordinary fecking picture: Lockhart splitting the DUP, Allister revisiting the arguments of the 1980s, and Bryson positioning himself at the centre of yet another confrontation.
All while working-class unionist communities continue to suffer from paramilitary intimidation, deprivation and criminal influence. Where are the practical solutions? Where is the sustained outrage about loyalist criminality? Where are the plans for housing, healthcare, jobs and education?
NI has spent decades trying to move beyond the politics of fear, division and sectarian confrontation. The question for Lockhart and Allister is whether their politics can deliver anything more constructive than another argument about who has betrayed unionism, and when will someone with a moral backbone and some principle try to oust these seriously bad actors? Jesus, surely people deserve better than this pantomime

I can’t get my head around the absolute frenzy that took place regarding imaginary weapons on the Garvaghy Road, and bare minimum about the 17 bombs and detonators that we’re discovered on the Shankill road.
Crazy stuff.

BREAKING: SINN FEIN ATTACK UUP LEADER JON BURROWS.
Sinn Fein have launched a strong attack on Ulster Unionist Party Leader @JonBurrowsMLA in the @niassembly at Stormont this morning.
Sinn Fein MLA Phillip McGuigan described Jon Burrows recent comments about being "deeply uncomfortable with the number of votes that Sinn Fein receives", as being arrogant and supremacist.
Philip McGuigan said "Jon Burrows has yet to receive a single vote here in any Election".
"Listening to Jon Burrows, you would think that he wants to turn the clock back to pre-1969 when his Party felt very 'comfortable' not giving Catholics a vote at all".
Phillip McGuigan further stated : "For 50 years after partition his Party (the UUP) governed an Orange State in which Catholic families faced discrimination in housing and employment"
"When people organised peacefully for Civil Rights in 1969 they were brutalised by the armed wing of the Orange State at the behest of the Ulster Unionist Party"
"We wont take any lectures from Jon Burrows on democracy".
"If equality makes Jon Burrows uncomfortable, then tough".
"The days of supremacy and domination are over. There are no second class citizens anymore"
"There is no going back".

Let's go live to Unionist politicians for their thoughts on this mob and lawbreaking......
Hello?
Callous Mount Vernon UVF thugs are demanding £15,000 from a teenager after they brutally battered and dumped him at a notorious murder scene.

Replying to @AllisonMorris1
Someone tell Nolan: wall-to-wall coverage over alleged imaginary guns on the Garvaghy Road, yet viable devices found here are met with deafening silence. Not one word of condemnation from the unionist politicians who were so vocal about the Garvaghy road. The same politicians who maintain close links with the LCC. An organisation linked to all these loyalist groups. Their silence raises serious questions about double standards, political accountability and who gets condemned when loyalist violence is involved.
Poor old Jonny Buckley- extending the hand of friendship to have it swiped away by Sunny Jim 😂
Unionist unity 🫠 and they tell us a UI is a pipedream 😂😂

Let me get this right.
You can be involved in racist pogroms, terrifying our migrant/refugee community or anyone deemed suspicious by racist agitators and effectively get away with it.

Not now, and not ever.
I, as First Minister, will be at the Assembly on Monday morning, along with Sinn Féin’s Ministers, to continue our work.
We will keep showing up every day for people.
ELP wasn't so fussed when there was significant anger, hurt and legitimate public discontent from residents and wider nationalism, following the parades commission decision to allow an OO march on Gar Rd.
She was all for dismissing and minimizing those feelings 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
Given the seriousness of the circumstances surrounding Michelle O’Neill’s recent reckless conduct, and the damage it has done to the operation of our joint office, I have withdrawn agreement to attendance at tomorrow’s engagements in Glasgow.
This follows on the back of stopping separate planned engagements, including with the President of Ireland, Catherine Connelly over the last number of weeks and I have not agreed further activities or events.
I do not take this action lightly.
The situation surrounding the First Minister’s recent conduct remains extremely serious. There is significant anger, hurt and legitimate public discontent arising from her actions. These concerns cannot simply be dismissed or minimised. This is an exceptionally serious matter, particularly given the responsibilities of the office she holds and the importance of public confidence in the rule of law.
Of further concern is the First Minister’s continuing refusal to recognise or meaningfully acknowledge the depth and legitimacy of the discontent caused by her behaviour. Her approach has contributed to a significant deterioration in confidence and in the working relationship necessary to discharge the responsibilities of our joint office.
Northern Ireland will not miss out. I have requested a separate meeting with the Prime Minister to ensure Northern Ireland’s interests, including the urgent budgetary and funding challenges facing the Executive, continue to be represented directly.
Let me get this straight - the DUP, the party who see NIs future within the UK and wants to see NI work, are refusing to attend a UK economic summit event that the PM will be present at, as a retaliatory move against MON & SF?
🤣🤣
They didn't think that one through did they?
When will they get the memo?...March where you're wanted and welcomed. Everybody's happy.
Unless of course what makes you happy, is triumphantly trampling over residents wishes is the whole point...
