So grateful and proud to have won two Emmy’s on Saturday night for our work on the migrant crisis. Want to shoutout @DanKomarinetz and Dan Keese who worked so hard on our piece about one Venezuelan family’s journey to the US. ny1.com/nyc/all-boroughs/pol…

In past/as recently as @NY1 debate, she said she wouldn’t raise income taxes — but today she didn’t double down on that facebook.com/share/r/19yMBc2…
NEW: @GovKathyHochul says she’ll “find a creative path” to fund childcare—ie payroll mobility tax hike & pied a terre for NYC budget—when asked if she’ll raise taxes on high earners. Before Election Day was cagier on this. Now hinting @ tax hikes. Didn’t answer on spending cuts.

Elise Stefanik is a selfish, do nothing politician that didn’t lift a finger to help Republican candidates in New York this year. She had one moment of glory in what was otherwise an unremarkable career.

“We just cleaned house. For all those naysayers who are always critiquing Brooklyn Dems, we have something for them,” a jubilant Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn says of the four Dems in southern Brooklyn who appear to have won their state legislative races. “We move forward.”
New: You might not know it watching the fractious Brooklyn Democratic Party wage war with itself, but the election looms just around the corner, bringing with it the opportunity for Dems to reclaim four state legislative seats in southern Brooklyn. cityandstateny.com/politics/…

Democrat Cait Conley urged voters in N.Y.’s 17th Congressional District to “not be dissuaded” by technical problems with voting machines. She told @KellyMena that every vote will be counted. Conley, who is challenging Republican Rep. Mike Lawler in a closely watched race, said she is leaving the timeline to the Board of Elections and acknowledged that it may take until tomorrow to get a result.
