The Liberals have known of these issues for years. To date, little corrective action has been taken.
The Minister’s response to my questions provided little reassurance that Canada is prepared for the next public health emergency.

Here is the data you need to know:

So manufacturing made up less than 3% of the decade's employment growth, and it is now 40,300 below its January 2025 peak. The sector grew a little, but it fell well behind the rest of the job market.
The sector under-invested, inefficient and now wants to hire foreigners instead of Canadians.
We have too many parasites advocating for the replacement of Canadians.

Just a reminder that the Alberta NDP wants ridings drawn based on raw population without consideration for whether the people who live in an area are all citizens or not.
It's just a fact that more urban areas will have more temporary residents and permanent residents who cannot vote.
Demanding rural areas be disenfranchised because Calgary and Edmonton have more people, whether they can vote or not, is foolish and anti-democratic in the extreme.
The NDP will scream "geography doesn't vote" because sometimes rural ridings have fewer people than the average Alberta provincial riding.
Guess what, non-citizens also DO NOT VOTE.
Who could guess why the Alberta NDP loves unchecked immigration and oppose the UCP government wanting to limit future immigration numbers???
