There is an emergency shelter on top of Ben Nevis, invaluable for injured or exhausted walkers to get out of the weather. This is how it looked yesterday. Beer cans, abandoned rucksack, cigarette packets, mouldy food… I despair sometimes.

Why do politicians, not for the first time, pretend to like or be interested in football when they clearly haven't a clue? Honestly, "sorry I don't really follow football as I've more important things to focus on" would be an OK response!
