Praying for Jack Campbell 🙏 Lions say neck injury, and he's headed to a local hospital. If you watched that and your stomach dropped, here's what you were seeing. The head athletic trainer gets to him first and holds his head and neck still with both hands. The team doctors check his breathing, ask about numbness or tingling, and test his grip and leg strength. If they can't clear his spine right there, the athletic trainers roll him onto the board as one unit, strap him in, and the cart takes him off. The board and the cart don't tell you the diagnosis. They mean the medical staff isn't taking chances. Imaging at the hospital is where the real answers come from. No timeline from me on this one. Just want to see him walk out of there.
