Kind of wish Amazon had a will-call pickup window. The part I need to repair my generator has been less than 5 miles away for 6 hours now, and it might be another 8 hours before it gets delivered.

Possibly the jankiest timer repair ever, but it seems to be working.
Unobtainium little battery was soldered to the PCB, now jumper wires connect to a cordless phone battery of the same voltage but much higher amperage.
We have some supply chain issues, but maybe don't lie and say you have stuff in stock that you don't.
I've ordered one small item from 3 different retailers now. The first 2 each waited a week or two before canceling my order since they couldn't get it.
Both still have their listing up for it. The 3rd place says over 3,500 in stock for shipment, allow 2-4 extra days if it has to come from the UK, but my expected ship date is 2 months after ordering. Too late for what I need this year but maybe I'll have it for next year?

Good reason not to bother making games for iOS. They’ll just get deleted after a couple of years, unless you continuously keep rewriting them on new frameworks forever. Expect more shovelware on apple’s app store after this.
