Canada and the EU are working towards the deepest possible partnership — short of full membership — with Canada becoming the European Union’s first Associate Member. Today in Montréal, we took a major step forward with more than twenty new measures that will create greater affordability, opportunity, and sovereignty on both sides of the Atlantic. pm.gc.ca/en/news/news-releas…

Mark Cuban shares his advice for people stuck working a 9 to 5 job and living paycheck to paycheck “Don't go get the best job because that's the hardest to find. Don't get the perfect job because those are hard to find. Just get a job” “When you have a job, just work to be really good at it” “You have to be brutally honest with yourself because nobody looks at the job they're doing and says, ‘I suck.’ They're like, ‘Oh, I'm great at this’” “When you're really good at something, that's when doors do open up” “Even in the worst possible job, you could be working at a McDonald's, at a Dairy Queen but there's a path” “The fact that you can show a future employer that you moved up the line and then when they asked for a reference, they said, ‘Steven was incredibly valuable. We're really sorry that he's leaving. We tried to keep him.’ That's what you need” “That can happen in 2-3 years. It's just most people don't want to think like that”

This is the exact common sense I hear everywhere I talk to normal, ordinary people like myself. And yes, Nature is brutal - the system will reset itself by collapsing, because what the current political and institutional elites have built in Europe is absolutely unsustainable.
FT comments never miss. I don’t think I’ve read such a rational analysis of the situation we’re in for a long time.

Friends - I'd like to do more unscripted podcast episodes, like The Random Show and live Q&As. Any ideas for what could be fun? What you'd like to see or listen to? Weird ideas welcome. Just reply to this tweet, and I’ll read them all. Thanks! 🙏

Right now, the AI conversation is focused on the machines as we marvel at their progress toward recursive self-improvement. But human beings also have recursive self-improvement: our fundamental drive to grow, learn, improve, and evolve. Thank you Lucia Auerbach for the thoughtful writeup in @Inc of my interview with Daniela Amodei. Let’s keep expanding the AI conversation to include not only the risks from the machines but the risks from not investing resources and attention to humans evolving and becoming the best versions of ourselves. inc.com/lucia-auerbach/arian…

Of course, we are not losing this war. But we are losing people. Because of the Russian attacks, we're losing people and time. It's such a pity, because our children don't have a real life and childhood. Not only children, but all people. That's why we need to end this war as quickly as possible. I hope that our partners, Americans and Europeans, will help us. God bless, our strong soldiers stay strong on the battlefield. It helps me stay strong during any kind of negotiations.

IHere's what Pres.Trump has done for Vladimir Putin since 2017: 🇺🇸➡️🇷🇺 First term 1Stood next to Putin in Helsinki and took his word over U.S. intelligence 2Lobbied to bring Russia back into the G7 3Withheld military aid from Ukraine to squeeze Zelensky (impeachment #1) 4Pulled out of Syria, handing Russia a freer hand 5Openly questioned NATO's mutual-defense pledge 6Lifted sanctions on Deripaska-linked companies, including Rusal 7Walked away from the INF nuclear treaty 8Walked away from the Open Skies treaty, leaving our European allies with less visibility 🇺🇸➡️🇷🇺 Second term
9. Called Russia's G7 expulsion a "mistake"
10. Declared Moscow "holds all the cards"
11. Opened talks with Russia with zero preconditions
12. Berated Zelensky in the Oval Office, then paused aid and intel to Ukraine
13. Halted offensive cyber operations against Russia
14. Had the U.S. vote WITH Russia against a UN resolution condemning the invasion
15. Said "Crimea will stay with Russia"
16. Rolled out the red carpet for Putin in Alaska
17. Pressed Ukraine, not Russia, to give up territory 18. Starshield 19. Diesel 20. Revoke Graham sanctions That's not "America First." You could never make that list of things a President has done for Zelensky, or for NATO. Ask yourself why.

I’ll stipulate that Trump is an agent of Putin. Go down the checklist. 1. Destroyed the Western alliance? Putin wanted that. 2. Threatened a NATO ally over Greenland? Putin wanted that. 3. Pulled out of the intermediate nuclear pact? Putin wanted that. 4. Withdrawing 25-40,000 troops from Western Europe while Russian bellicosity is rising? Putin wanted that. 5. Russian satellites giving coordinates to Iranians killing our soldiers, and his response is “they kill us, we kill them”? What American president says that? I think he’s been compromised. The election of Donald Trump may be the greatest foreign policy success in post-Czarist Russian history.

Rubio’s trip to India was mostly about getting the trade deal done and talking energy amid Global System Rupture. He says the trade agreement is basically finished, almost 99% there, just some wording left to sort out, and it should be ready in a matter of weeks, not months. I am quite convinced that the waiver on Russian energy exports for India (and China among other customers) was also launched to not stand in the way of the trade deal and the energy agreements. On energy, he’s pushing India to buy and refine more oil from places other than Russia (especially Venezuelan crude, since India is good at refining heavy oil). That’s why he’s also heading to Reliance’s big refinery in Jamnagar. If this is possible, we will see quite an interesting game in using India's major refining capacities operating in both worlds - the US one which will rely on Venezuelan refined oil; and the DragonBear one which relies on the Russian refinied oil. This is just a potential scenario, just watch this space! Rubio kept saying the US and India are strongly aligned on the big stuff that matters to both countries, and that better ties with Pakistan or China won’t come at India’s expense. Overall, the message was: the relationship is very important, the trade deal is almost close, and energy is the next big area to work on together. Which all makes sense given the simultaneity of disruption in the three choke points and the two proxy wars adding more pain to the global system, including Indian economy. India being the pragmatic geopolitical bridge between the two world right now will benefit from improving the relationship with the US on top of stabilizing the relation with China and further deepening the relation with Russia.

Healthcare has become remarkably good at treating disease. The next frontier is helping people build health – in the moments between doctor visits. Because for all the advances in medicine, much of what shapes our health happens far from clinics and hospitals. It happens in our daily choices around food, movement, sleep, stress management and connection. That's why I'm thrilled to announce Thrive Global's new collaboration with @bswhealth. @PeteMcCanna and his team are thinking boldly about what healthcare can become. Pete understands that caring for people can't stop when the appointment ends. It has to meet them in the moments in between. Together, we're bringing Thrive's behavior change science into the MyBSWHealth app, alongside Baylor Scott & White's trusted clinical expertise. The goal is simple: help people turn healthy intentions into habits that last — one Microstep at a time. I loved reading @kgoochBHR's @BeckersHR article about our collaboration and the impact it can have. Read the full story: beckershospitalreview.com/he…

2 years ago, @TheEconomist asked what happened to the AI revolution. Today, we're investing in AI more than ever, still struggling to prove the returns, and discovering that AI's impact on jobs is anything but predictable. I believe these seemingly contradictory signals are telling us something important about the AI Economy taking shape, and what it will take to lead in it. 👀 briansolis.com/2026/10/the-a…

Humiliating and dangerous: Trump has now finally just made America an ally of the Kremlin and is aiding Putin in his war against an American friend and partner. Shameful betrayal of a US friend, and pathetic submission to a US enemy. theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/1…

Some of my geopolitical and geoeconomic frameworks that stood the test of the time since 2022: - DragonBear as a modus operandi of strategic coordination between Russia and China - India as the key geopolitical bridge between the two worlds amid bifurcating global system - new Cold War 2.0 between the US and DragonBear - AI as game changer in 4IR: who wins the AI, wins the 4IR; who wins the 4IR, wins the new Cold War; - Simultaneity of two proxy wars in Ukraine and Iran as two major systemic risks generating global multiplicative effects across the global system since 2022 - Global System Rupture as the fourth systemic risk-driven global crisis - The „Triangle of Happiness“ representing the new Triumvirate of global realpolitik between US, China and Russia to manage the confrontation below the threshold of a direct conventional and nuclear conflict - Europe facing vast geoeconomic decline due to the strategic trilemma of deindustrialization, defence gaps and aggressive decarbonization and a geopolitical backyard of global affairs - the rise of South and Southeast Asia as a geoeconomic center of growth and the Indo-Pacific as the main arena of global power competition - no military attack on Taiwan by China but slow & steady „death by thousand cuts approach“ - the Arctic as a key geoeconomic artery for the DragonBear and major commercial, trade & maritime corridor for the Indo-Pacific with Russia becoming the entry ticket for China

This is great. Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff on Trump’s Corruption: “If you're involved in any of this, next year, you'll be raising your right hand and swearing to tell the truth, the whole truth, and and nothing but the truth, so help you God in front of the United States Congress." This should be enough for you to vote Democrat in a few weeks.
