Exactly why we don't want Israel setting up a manufacturing plant for military weapons in Western Qld.
In an interview with Neil Mitchell that aired today the Director General of ASIO Mike Burgess has made the extraordinary statement that "I wouldn't rule out the possibility that Iran would want to kill prominent Jewish Australians".
When the head of Australia's leading Security and Intelligence Agency goes public with his "grave concern" that it is only a matter of time before Australian citizens are killed on Australian soil by a foreign power it must ring alarm bells across the nation.
What is more Mike Burgess's warning comes just days after he revealed that Australian authorities have thwarted 16 serious terrorist threats since the Bondi massacre just last December.
This is a most serious and dangerous time for our nation.
After the unacceptable security failures that preceded the Bondi attack where 15 innocent souls lost their lost their lives the Government and its agencies must take urgent and stronger action than we have seen to date to protect not just Jewish Australians but all Australians.
We must all call for and expect nothing less.

SEGAL FAMILY were forced to leave South AFRICA,
because of their bloody history of APARTHEID.
HOW, did they get accepted as suitable migrants to AUSTRALIA?
STOP, this taxpayer funded dangerous woman, cancel the ENVOY role

This government has lost my vote because of its support of Zionist Israel.

Australia under #McCarthyism had "Reds Under The Beds" with Menzies.
We now have #Segalism with "Antisemites Under The Beds" with Albanese.

Canada discontinued their position of antisemitic special envoy in Feb 2026 along with the office combatting Islamophobia. They created the Advisory Council on Rights, Equality and Inclusion. Australia should do something similar.

Remember when some of us were so naive to think that if we got enough signatures on a petition, wrote enough letters to Wong and Albanese that they might listen to us? 🇵🇸
300,000 marched across the Harbour Bridge. Next day Albanese expelled the Iran ambassador on a Mossad lie.

Neither Jewish nor non-Jewish Australians support Jillian Segal. She represents a powerful lobby, not the Australian public, yet demands millions of our dollars to restrict the freedoms of us all. She must be removed.
Special Envoy Jillian Segal’s latest report is a dangerous and ideologically driven roadmap that threatens freedom of speech, academic freedom and democratic rights, while failing to meaningfully address the root causes of antisemitism. Our release: jewishcouncil.com.au/2026/10…

Segal’s nonsense is extreme,as it is dishonest.
#Progressives, latest scapegoats because she understands power of staining a group. She’s prepared the soil, for our criticisms to be devalued.
We wont be lectured to or be judged, by a fatuous, controlling schoolmistress.

Here's just one example. Under the heading of Islamic Extremism, Segal claims that AFP Commissioner Krissy Barrett "declared" the statement below.
The quote attributed to Krissy Barrett ('Krissy Barrett declared') even has a footnote. As you'll see, citation 3 sends us off to an article in the Australian by Greg Brown on Oct 8, 2026.
I read that article and I could not find a direct quote anywhere from Krissy Barrett declaring those words attributed to her. Those words are the words of the journalist, Greg Brown editorialising Ms Barrett. theaustralian.com.au/nation/…
The journalist has included a great deal of direct quotes from Ms Barrett in the article, but no quotes of hers that declare, "Islamic fundamentalism would continue to be the biggest terror risk over the next year, and that the local threat from Hamas supporters was not declining."
Rather the 'quote' is from the words of the journalist, Greg Brown of the Australian - it is not a direct quote or declaration from the AFP's Krissy Barrett.

@AlboMP The choice is yours: rein in Segal's unelected influence or pay the price at the ballot box. Australians will not tolerate an unelected foreign representative wielding power over our democracy and demanding we put Israel's interests first. Stand up for Australian sovereignty.

I've been reading through this, which was released today, and let me tell you - it is a hot mess.
Jillian Segal (well let's face it, the taxpayer-funded team who work for her) has delivered a line of limited thinking that aims to insert itself into every aspect of Australian life - with no peer review, or any form of independent assessment. We are expected to simply take the Antisemitism Envoy at their word and shut up.
As usual, it presents as a wandering discourse of unevidenced claims, taking particular aim at the increasing dissatisfaction with Israel by most of the western world and hiding it within the cloak of 'antisemitism' - a word tossed about freely throughout the document, a word that underwrites the document and all it's radical thought-policing, but a word that they fail to provide with any concrete definition or cohesive meaning.

Yes she needs to go, but given the PM's lack of courage in these matters, I fear she will remain. If Albanese WANTS to "turn down the temperature", the FIRST thing he should do is SACK this hydrant of anti social cohesion.
A government envoy who tied university and arts funding to her own standards, now asking for outside oversight of public broadcasters. At what point did Australians agree to this? Speaking for “the community” isn’t the same as a mandate. #Segal needs to go.
