We leverages programmatic Claude a LOT at Zipper. Disappointed to see it go away. Luckily our engine is unopinionated on providers. GPT-5.5 is a great headless model. GLM-5.1 and Kimi K2.6 are doing great as well. Maybe this is for the better. #claude #ai #openai #oss #kimi

I published a new NPM package, "nest-remix", this weekend. I am a huge fan of #NestJS and #Remix and this combines all the amazing backend tools from @nestframework with the awesome frontend tools from @remix_run. Super excited. youtu.be/GGqr20kp28E npmjs.com/package/nest-remix

Don't be like this. Imagine walking up to an OSS maintainer who (for nothing or next to nothing) spends hours every day working on a framework that you write code in every day. And you say to them, "You didn't fix a bug in a package I use. Your support is failing me." Come on.

I’m a big Cypress fan, so I’m shocked to say this: I just switched to @playwrightweb. Here are 16 reasons I switched: 1. WAY Faster. ~2X faster with 1 core. ~6x faster with multiple cores (uses multiple workers) 2. Tests multiple browsers in parallel. 1/5 Comparison:👇

Unit testing React > unit testing Angular (in 2021) Have we made significant improvements with the Angular testing toolchain since I left the Angular world?
Fun @remix_run thing I did today: splat param. Easily turned a search page ('/search') into dynamic routes for default filters with much cleaner and SEO-friendly URLs than query parameters ('/search/category/value' and '/search/category2/value2') remix.run/docs/en/v1/guides/…

I ignored some new tech for a while. Adopted all of these in a new project without really trying them. All amazing tools. 🧵 1/# @tailwindcss Need to dig up an old tweet about how I didn't get it. @adamwathan accurately called me on it - basically, "you won't get it til you do"

5/# #WSL2 WSL1 was okay, not great. I wanted to give it another shot with WSL2 & now I'm a big fan. Notable performance gains over Windows for @nodejs/@npmjs in a Linux env/filesystem along with general ecosystem benefits. It doesn't feel like using a VM, it feels native.

I lost interest in hobby programming in early 2021 from burnout/boreout. Since starting this new project, I've learned all these new tools, became much stronger with React, and in general have a renewed interest. Try new things. Write code you won't ship. Have fun. end🧵

Hi friends. I have some new goals for 2023. I want to help as many engineers as I can. Part of that is re-launching YouTube efforts (been on hold with home construction 🙂). Secondly I've launched a MentorCruise profile for 1-1 coaching. DM with questions! mentorcruise.com/mentor/kerr…

When I (mostly) stopped using Twitter, I was all about Angular and NestJS. 18 months later, I'm writing React full-time, loving @remix_run. Learning a lot about how I want to build and deploy software. Looking forward to sharing some of it soon.

I feel like I looked away from webdev tech for the last 2 years and now there's a much different landscape. @nextjs, @remix_run, @blitz_js, @RedwoodJS. Which ones are you passionate about? How did you make your pick (or when does it change)?

I'm getting excited about web dev again after diving into @blitz_js. This feels like a natural progression for web app development.
