2 नवम्बर 1834, के मॉरिसस मे भारत से भोजपुरिया लोगन के पहिला खेप एटलस जहाज से पहुंचल रहे । एग्रीमेंट के हिसाब से मजदूर लोग मॉरिसस पहुंचल रहे जे बाद मे " गिरमिटिया " के नाव से जानल जाला । 2 नवम्बर के मॉरिसस में अप्रवासी दिवस मनावल जाला।
5 साल के कांट्रेक्ट ओह लोगन से भईल जे कलकत्ता मे ओह घरी नोकरी करत रहे , आ ब्रिटेन के ट्रेडिंग कम्पनी " हंटर-आर्बुथ्नाट एंड कम्पनी " संगे ई कांट्रेक्ट जवना के एग्रिमेंट कहल गईल, बनल रहे । पहिला खेप मे उ लोग रहे जे बिहार आ पुर्वांचल से कलकत्ता मे नोकरी करत रहे आ ओह लो के बहुत कुछ देबे के वादा कई के ई एग्रिमेंट भईल रहे ।
ब्रिटेन के ई कम्पनी ओह घरी कलकत्ता आ मॉरिसस, दुनो जगहा रहे आ ओकरा बिहार पुर्वांचल के लोग मजदूरी खाति नीमन बुझाईल । 36 लोगन के पहिला टीम जवना के मेठ " स्वरुप " रहले आ उनुका संगे रहले सबराम । एह लो के संगे जाये वाला अउरी लोगन मे कुछ नाव रहे कैलाशचंद , दूखन , भुमराह , बुद्धू , बिगना , चम्पा , लुगन , बुद्धराम ।
कांट्रेक्ट बंगाली भाषा मे लिखल रहे जवना मे महीना के तनखाह मे मरदाना खाति 5 रुपया आ मेहरारुन खातिर 4 रुपया रहे । मेठ के तनखाह 10 रुपया महीना आ मेठ के संगे जे रहे ओकर 8 रुपया महीना तनखाह रहे ।
ई यात्रा भारत में कलकत्ता पोर्ट से मॉरिसस में पोर्ट लुईस ( वर्तमान में अप्रवासी घाट ) ले रहे ।
1834 से 1910 के बीचे 451796 लोग मारिसस गईल रहे जवना मे 346036 लोग मरदाना आ 105760 लोग मेहरारु रहे । तकरीबन 294257 लोग मॉरिसस मे रुकि गईल , जबकि 157539 लोग वापस भारत लवट आईल आ एहि मे से कुछ लोग दक्षिण अफ्रीका , ब्रिटिश गुयाना , त्रिनिदाद आ फिजी चल गईल ।
मॉरिसस में पहुंचल इहे लोग आजुओ अपना भाषा अपना संस्कार के बना के रखले बा , आजूओ एह देस मे भोजपुरी के फेंड़ प हिन्दी के फर लागल बा ।

Supreme Court has permitted bursting of green firecrackers in Delhi-NCR on November 7 and 8, 2026, between 6 am and 7 am and 8 pm and 10 pm, in accordance with its earlier order dated October 15, 2025.
Supreme Court has directed that no firecrackers shall be burst within a 300-metre radius of hospitals, nursing homes, primary and district health centres, old-age homes and notified silence zones.
These areas, along with educational institutions, will be declared ‘No-Cracker Zones’ and appropriately marked and publicised, says Supreme Court.
