What a Shameful Statement by Farooq Abdullah. As an ordinary Kashmiri and a young person from Jammu and Kashmir I strongly disagree with Farooq Abdullah’s statement that Pakistan is protecting Kashmiris by raising the Kashmir issue internationally. Has he forgotten the painful history of our people? Pakistan-backed tribal forces invaded Kashmir in 1947 causing violence, suffering and loss of life. How can we ignore this history while presenting Pakistan as our protector? We do not need leaders who keep bringing #Pakistan into every discussion about our future. We have nothing to do with Pakistan. Look at the difference. When it comes to political families we see their sons and grandchildren holding powerful positions, attending grand events and inaugurating projects. But when it comes to ordinary Kashmiris we are still asked to listen to the same old political arguments. Farooq Abdullah has been in politics for decades. After all these years is this the future he wants to offer the young generation of Kashmir? As a Gen-Z of Jammu And Kashmir I believe Kashmir deserves a new direction. We want development, dignity, equal opportunities and peace. We want leaders who answer our questions about unemployment, education and the future instead of using Pakistan as a political argument. We are Kashmiris we are Indian’s and we can speak for ourselves. No political leader has the right to assume that an entire generation agrees with his views. @manaman_chhina @UdayMahurkar @KeypadGuerilla @sidhant @sardesairajdeep @mikejava85 @sudhirchaudhary @asadowaisi @manojsinha_ @TheSkandar @vidyarthee @anishgawande @iMohdAnsar @neha_aisa @priyankagandhi @AmitShah @tehseenp @TahirPeerzada_ @Wajahatfarooqbt @Delhiite_ @DarMudasir10 #FarooqAbdullah #Kashmir #Pakistan
