Tend to agree. At this stage I'd like the manager to keep some positional consistency with the wingers to try and help nail some patterns of play.

I definitely prefer Rio on the right hand side. He gets into way better areas and puts more crosses into the box, ones that are useful

Mo Salah is still better than all Liverpool wingers. He creates, they mostly don’t. He scores, they almost never do. He has aura to capture the attention of defenders, they are auraless work in progress.

A real low point for the manager tonight. For the most part any underpar results this season came with a genuine caveat, but tonight just looks a bit shite. Still not creating changes regularly or perhaps more crucially, through any noticeable pattern.

I think a lot of it comes from the squad make up but I'd be hypocrite to not point it out given my criticism of Slot last season and how the team was playing.
