Tomorrow I take my EM boards. I am nervous. Standardized exams were always my Achilles heel. I’ve studied. I’ve trained. Will give it my absolute best.

Happy #nationallatinophysicianday! About 20% of the US population is Latino but only 6% of doctors in the US are Latinos. Grateful for organizations like @LmsaNational and @NHMAmd and @chicagomola and @lmsa_west who pour into Latino communities and rising up physicians. Vamos!

Anyone else feel like the “halftime show” for the World Cup was really disjointed? Didn’t feel like it flowed. On top of the fact that soccer doesn’t have halftime shows. It’s not American football… felt out of place.

Just signed my first attending contract! And graduation is in just under two months. I can’t believe it. This whole dream is coming together. Just a boy be coming the attending ER doctor. I worked as an ER scribe for four years. If he could see us now.
