Today is the day.

COVID hit us disproportionately hard, compared to every other MW city of similar size. It’s still crazy to me that at one point we were the global epicenter for new cases, for weeks. My heart’s kinda heavy man, my dad lost a few friends. And I haven’t even mentioned this flood

back in ‘14 the summer after my freshman year, I actually interned in the Mayor’s Office during his first year taking over from D Bing. That was 8 years ago.. not sure where I thought we’d be by now, but it sure wasn’t here. we can’t afford to give up another decade
