In 1978, Liam Hinphey was spending the week in Kilkenny during the run up to the All Ireland Final.
After watching them train before they went into battle with Cork later that week Liam hitched a lift to Dublin with the Kilkenny secretary Paddy Grace.
Now a new generation of Lynch's will get a chance to wear these jerseys like their father's & grandfather's before them!!
These jersey are now available to order through our club shop

Ach here.... isn't that just class. We still enjoy the legacy of the late great Pat Holloway, 60 years after he began preaching hurling in the school, and it is still paying dividends - and in his beloved native @TipperaryGAA colours too! Well done @Dernaflaw
Brilliant stuff from @MrJackieTee & @thomasniblock. Thank you to the Benedy hall for hosting the podcast!!
This is a fabulous listen. Jackie Tyrell, 9 All-Ireland titles with Kilkenny, pundit, model-crippled with doubt. Obsessive mindset. Brian Cody like you’ve never heard, handshake with Shefflin- regrets?
A brilliant GAA Social Podcast
