Arizona head coach Brent Brennan bought 1,000 tickets for local nonprofits and charities and youth football organizations to attend the Iowa State game.
After the game, Brennan walked into Dirtbag's and bought around 300 shots (a $2,000 tab) for Arizona fans and then walked out.
Amazing stuff. Man of the people.

Tucson High coach Zach Neveleff’s players and coaches rallied around him in what has been a very emotional time for him since his mom passed away recently. Part of this week he was in Las Vegas to bring home his mom’s ashes after spreading some in Sedona. Tonight, on his birthday, the Badgers beat Buena dramatically 24-23 in overtime. Afterward, he held back tears when he thanked his players in a postgame huddle for their support for when he was away “to help my mom to her home.”

Football has shaped my life in so many ways. Forever grateful for the opportunities and places I get to see because of an imperfect sport played by imperfect people.
Excited to get after it again this season as the Arizona football beat writer for Tucson.com — and be a Southwest Airlines-flying (Group 8 forever), Uber-riding, Double Tree-living son of a gun, or whatever Ric Flair said. WOO! 😂🏈

The ruling by the federal judge in Colorado technically means Arizona could bring back a number of athletes from various sports who finished their fourth year of eligibility in 2025-26
That includes, among others, Big 12 Softball Player of the Year Sydney Stewart

NEW: Arizona QB Noah Fifita tells @PeteNakos the Wildcats have what it takes to make school history:
"My goal is not to be the best player in Arizona history, but to be a part of the best team, and I do believe we have a chance to go do that. I do believe we’ll be the first team in Arizona history to go to a conference championship game and to go to a New Year’s Six game."
