It comes to no surprise that the most expensive hosting provider that I deal with for multiple clients was the slowest at patching PHP today... And why wouldn't they be? Sites hosted with them are also the slowest around.
After hearing about the @bethesda layoffs, I think it best for every game studio to do their best to break away from Microsoft/Xbox, they're simply bad business...I thought the same with all the studios under Activision/EA, etc.
Take back your freedom and direction!
Found out @clickup's free tier limits you to 100 uses for custom fields. This is per workspace forever. Any edit, change, add, deletion all counts as 1.
After discovering this, I'll be looking to move off ClickUp entirely with my current paid space instead of move more to them.
Welp, I went to watch some World Cup shows on Peacock...but it's all in Spanish? Even the Hub is all en español.
Ironically, the sports category is "Soccer" and not "Fútbol"🤷
Guess I have to look elsewhere for the English versions!
How to make your own World Cup:
1. Find a Globe
2. Cut it in half
3. Fill half with your favorite beverage
4. Enjoy
Why is it that every other article contains the word "Quietly" somewhere in the title?
It instantly make me run away.
So, I've had to use Elementor for a bit for a client site, and I have to say...it is terrible. Hate it, don't like it, at all. Not sure how it got popular or why, but it does so much wrong, the front end rarely matches the back end, and it is just slow. So slow.
What is with SaaS platforms requiring you to have three different 30-minute meetings with 3 different people, that barely listen to your actual needs and just pitch their platform?
It is a good thing some jobs aren't work from home. I could only imagine a nuclear missile getting launched because some fellow's toddler came over and smashed the buttons while he was on duty.
This really hit home: military.com/feature/2025/11…
"...I ask patient forbearance one toward another throughout the land, and a determined effort on the part of every citizen to do his share toward cementing a happy union; and I ask the prayers of the nation to Almighty God in behalf of this consummation."
Ulysses S. Grant
I encourage everyone to spend the next 24 hours praying for the victims, families of the victims from the Brown University shooting, and guidance for the doctors and nurses attending to the wounded. We can debate everything later.
I keep seeing articles on over tourism. Well...it can be solved easily, but we just need holodecks from Star Trek! Just a few physics issues to work out.
The Cox vs Sony case is concerning to me. It shouldn't be Cox's responsibility to ensure all their clients are following the law. They're a service, and should not be held liable for what people do.
