I fear many of the louder, more public Christian voices have lost the plot this election season.
Somewhere along the way, man turned Jesus into a political instrument rather than the example we’re called to follow.
Our duty as Christians is not to police God’s rules on His behalf. It’s to love God and love people, in every meaningful sense of the word.
Love protects. Love serves. Love seeks justice, extends mercy, tells the truth, and recognizes the dignity of every human being. Kind, patient.
Shouldn’t our approach to public policy begin there, too? Not with how much of our religious morality we can impose on others, but with how we can build a society that most faithfully practices love toward them.
Jesus didn’t command us to control our neighbors. He commanded us to love them.
Such powerful #truth !!!
Wow...this!
Burnout reveals something deeper than exhaustion.
We're all longing for freedom.
The gospel reminds us that true freedom isn't found in having fewer responsibilities, but in no longer needing to prove our worth through our performance.
When our identity is secure in Christ, work becomes an offering—not our identity.

On this day in 1964, it was announced that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. would be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his philosophy of #nonviolence and its application for Civil Rights.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. fought and proved that systemic oppression could be challenged and dismantled through nonviolent resistance.
Nonviolence isn’t just a strategy in our history books. It’s an everyday mindset that empowers us to build a better, more peaceful world.

Any single individual having this amount of influence in our elections does not lead to a healthy democracy. It doesn’t matter if they are supporting Democrats or Republicans. We need a serious effort at campaign finance reform and have to overturn the Citizens United decision.

I can’t lie, this series hurt a lot given how it played out. But I am still really proud of these guys. What a ride this season was. They accomplished things I didn’t think were possible. 3 straight 100+ loss seasons to a playoff berth and a playoff series win. And so many memorable moments along the way. I will remember this season for a long time.
Sucks that it’s over but now they know what it takes to win in October. They experienced it firsthand. I think they will come back hungrier and stronger because of this.
