I think we make a big mistake judging things based on long-term things like single vs situationship vs relationship.
Many choices are based on short-term considerations: does this seem like a thrilling or good experience or story to add to my life
This is not standard things i expect guests to do, nor i expect to do when staying at someone's house.

its just bonkers the new policy @airbnb is trying to put in place. Putting the dishes in the dishwasher, taking out the trash, pulling the sheets off the bed....they are just standard things any normal person would do when staying at a house. Why wouldn't a host be allowed to say that?

I love how this is separated by news day. It gives the person a sense of history rather than the 'always on'. I think this should be at the bottom of the homepage for the last 3-5 days . and above it should only include the last 24hrs
the only notes is that that character commentary is fire. It should be based on your worldview and meta-commenting about every article but just on that article's page.

center the comics on the main page like you do on the individual pages and individual comic pages should link to the previous (on the left) and next 2 days (on the right) comics
the different topics could have two of the latest articles vertically stacked in their column, but as many columns as the width allows.

Capial markets - include datacenter building (and destruction in warzones)
topic pages (technology) should have the same layout as the homepage with the n-wide being different topics.
Americans will buy and adapt to what's available because we have a housing shortage. And the ones that won't tolerate it, can buy something else. You don't have to please everyone always.

I saw this and thought of your "family walkable" idea.
you could mitigate this by putting in some subtle geography mixing such that schools are nearer to family sized courtyard blocks but not so much old folks homes.
