We are looking at a very deep level into hyperliquid perps and their transaction costs.
The dashed line is the sqrt impact. This has been proven a number of times to hold in tradfi equities.
Early indications are that it doesn't hold on @HyperliquidX perps.
Seems that there is microstruture inefficiency.
We don't know precisely why yet.

Decentralised protocols & AML/CFT
Users that rely on keyring to prove AML/CFT from third parties will generally be fully decentralised protocols that assess that they outside of the guidance of regulated activities and as such have no centralised control point or entity or person that can perform a continuous monitoring task. These entities often want to still do their best by tackling the worst ills of humanity such as terrorism, drug and people trafficking so they implement keyring in a fully decentralised infrastructure format that does the best that they can given their decentralised nature.
Compliant usage of Keyring
Each jurisdiction has its own layering of sanctions and AML/CFT requirements and so whilst practically piggybacking off another entities’ AML/CFT program eliminates most risk it’s strictly not compliant unless they are in the same jurisdiction and even then you would need to get a data sharing agreement under FATF 17.
Out recommendation is therefore for regulated users to use keyring for CDD and apply their own AML/CFT sanctions screening on top using the data obtained on the entity from Keyring infrastructure.
They will then have to submit SAR reports and do additional monitoring as is usual.
KYC and AML/CFT continuous monitoring
The part that catches people out is usually not the KYC/CDD process rather it’s the application of sanctions and AML/CFT continuous monitoring process

Actually, we can support all FATF recommendations with explicitly nods towards the FATF recommendations 10 & 17.

The problem with permissioned pools is that they require unnecessary PII to be sent over archaic KYB/C processes. When in fact you send the same information in a secure fashion that respects FATF recommendations and US requirements
