Honestly my take on racials is they should just be utility more or less. Things like Dark Irons’ indoor speed increase or skyborns’ slow fall. Almost 30 years in, they haven’t figured out balancing them. They’re not gonna, clearly. Just make them flavor stuff.

My favorite part of Rask’s glam is finding weapons that fit his outfit every time I get a new job. White mage was one I thought I’d struggle to find something that works, but the weathervane staff honestly ties it together perfectly lol
