🙏💔 Thoughts and prayers are with 🇧🇷 Daiane “Leidy Dai” Silva, a 29-year-old fighter still in a coma in London after a failed weight cut for her Bellator/PFL debut on September 14.
Silva, undefeated at 3-0, has competed at 155lbs, even capturing lightweight gold in Brazil. This was her first attempt to cut down to 145lbs for a fight against Eman Almudhaf when the tragic incident happened. Daiane, a talented fighter and incredible person, had shared her dreams with us at WMMA Rankings. We are heartbroken by this news and pray for her full recovery.
💔 Scroll through the thread below ⬇️ to see Nacao Cyborg’s statement and footage of Daiane’s title win. (1/3) #WMMA #Bellator #PFL

It’s so easy to put the blame at the feet of a dysfunctional @Eskom_SA but how about the pathetic @Vodacom111, @CellC or @rainSouthAfrica. The second the power goes off so too does their service......
