Iโm fed up with certain politicians saying we need to โrespectโ the result of the 2016 Brexit referendum.
A decision by a narrow majority 10yrs ago that turned out to be a disaster does not have to be respected.
If a democracy cannot change its mind it ceases to be a democracy.

Actually, maybe affirmative action is more accurate. The fact remains that white men were hired because they were white men for a really long time, and in many places they still are. DEI is not meant to promote women and minorities above white men; itโs meant to ensure that we also get a chance to participate. To people who have been obscenely privileged for most of American history, I do understand that equality is going to feel like oppression, but itโs 2026 and itโs time for you to pull your head out of your ass.
