Everything being a conspiracy is so tiring.

If you’re continuing on with the stupidity that this was some government conspiracy, that it was a missile instead of a plane, and that there are no actual victims or grieving families, please, for the sake of all sane people, do not vote tomorrow.

I’m absolutely devastated. I woke up this morning and learned who the pilot was. Nathalia and I went to high school together. She was the star of the aviation academy that opened just a few years ago at West Boca. Everyone knew how much she wanted to become a pilot. She would share hundreds of TikToks of herself flying. She even posted one yesterday. Absolutely heartbreaking. 🙏

Today has really fucked me off. People think all pilots look like me, old, grey, half bald with a beer in hand. They forget that we all have to start somewhere. As a 20 year old copilot getting a job on a Lear (after passing the ATP, and the aircraft type rating), getting shit thrown at you every day by experienced Captains (who only want you to learn) until the point at which you get selected for Captaincy. You’ve worked so hard, you’ve dedicate your entire life to that moment and what it means beyond. To have that cut short is absolutely devastating, it’s a brutal, one chance only world, get it wrong once and there are no second chances. So before you post about a 20 year old female pilot being in such a position ask yourself what you’d done by 20? Ask yourself how your friends and family would feel tonight. Above all, leave it to the investigators to work it out.

To all you clickbaiting vultures pushing nonsense about missiles, drones, and every other stupid conspiracy theory. This is the actual plane that crashed in Florida today. For the love of God, show some damn respect for the victims and their families!

I don't know who needs to hear this, but it's OK to posit a conspiracy theory that ultimately gets proven wrong. In fact, it should be encouraged.

The fact that there are so many people online today saying this was a missile from Iran and not an airplane really makes me question the education system in this country!
