Charged, not convicted, with arson at a house of worship on bond 3 days ago: when can someone be baptized into a church?
Asking for a WML
When does Christ’s Atonement activate, and when can priesthood opportunity open the door to baptism?
The handbook appears to only discuss satisfying your sentence after conviction..
How do we love like the Savior here but also practice safety for the congregation? What’s the balance between Truth & Love?
WWJD?
Jesus Christ Amends.
"He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities" (Isaiah 53:5)
Usually the person who did the wrong is the one who has to make amends. Here it's the other way around. He never owed anything, and He paid all of it anyway.
The wound in His hand belongs to my mistakes, not His. And He didn't pay grudgingly or from a distance. He put His hand right on the page, where the debt was heaviest, and let it be fastened there.
When I can't fix what I've broken, He already has. That gives me the courage to try to make it right with the people I've hurt, too.
Because He amends, we can be strengthened to try to forgive those that hurt us first.

Jesus Christ is Mindful.
"God is mindful of every people, whatsoever land they may be in." (Alma 26:37)
Some nights we look up and wonder if we register at all, whether our quiet prayers or the hurts no one else knows about ever reach Him. They do. The One who set every star and celestial body in place counts you among the things He won't lose track of. You were never a face in the crowd to Him. You're the one He came for. He knows you by name.
Because He is mindful, we can know we are never forgotten no matter how lost we become.

Jesus Christ Protects.
"For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness." (Psalm 18:28)
There are nights when what's left of our faith feels fragile, and we're afraid one more hard thing will put it out. He knows exactly how small that flame is, and He doesn't scold it for being small. He just bends close and takes the wind and rain Himself so it can keep burning. You don't have to hold it together alone tonight. It's held.
Because He protects, we can stand between someone else's light and the storm sharing that protection.

Women want a basket.
Because he just listens, does what they want, and the actor is hot.
I haven’t seen this but the article makes me think women don’t want a partner anymore. They want a basket man.
And they’re getting them these days with how men are becoming it seems.

Jesus Christ is my Sanctuary.
"Yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary." (Ezekiel 11:16)
The world gets dark and loud, and sometimes we come to Him weary, scattered, and far from home. But His house stands open with its lights on, and in Him there is a holy place where the noise stops and the soul can rest. We don't have to be whole to come in. We come in to be made whole.
Because He is our sanctuary, so can we be a refuge for one another.

Jesus Christ is Merciful.
"That God might be a perfect, just God, and a merciful God also." (Alma 42:15)
Justice is real, and we can't balance that scale ourselves. He doesn't erase justice. He steps under it and pays what we owe with His own suffering, so that our broken hearts can be lifted, healed, and made whole. Whatever weighs on you tonight, His mercy reaches lower than you've fallen.
Because He is merciful, so can we always find mercy.

Destructive compassion and explosive truth are elements that corrupt and implode families and societies.
Jesus Christ offers the balance through His gospel.
I said what is said.

Jesus Christ Cares.
"Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands." (Isaiah 49:16)
The wounds in His hands are proof of how much He cares. He paid for our broken hearts with His own pain, and He doesn't throw the pieces away. He holds them gently and fills every crack with something more precious than before.
Whatever you're carrying tonight, you're not too broken and not forgotten. You're in His hands.
Because He cares, we can be cared for always.
