World Bank is scared of the odious debt discussion. With regime changes world over, they are trying to get ahead of the narrative to ensure they give Kenyans a new target ( the corrupt leaders) so that they are exonorated and Kenya still pays their odious debt.

One thing I'm glad about the Ruto presidency: he has exposed Kenya to be the imperial lackey it has always been. There had been too much cover up and PR sanitizing Kenya as an advanced African nation, riding on the coat tails of the Mau Mau to behave as if it is a revolutionary country. The Haiti expedition was the trigger that made the pan-African world finally realize what generations of Kenyans have been saying all along. Kenya has always been one of the major, spineless, imperialist moles of the entire global south.
