My next article is about an initiative to provide a new educational resource for the citizenry, that citizens on both sides will actually want to go to. allsides.com/blog/proposal-3… Why now? Two reasons. The first, certainly, is because the societal disruption of social media, partisan media, and disappearing journalism has made it urgent, perhaps even an emergency. The second, though, is that technology is handing us some brand-new possibilities. It is the 6th installment of my series on fixing public discourse. The series, based on my new book, proposes six major initiatives. Published on AllSides Perspectives. See links below to my previous articles. Here are all of the previous articles: 1. Brawny Solutions for our Dysfunctional Public Discourse allsides.com/blog/brawny-sol… 2. Democratic Discourse and the Impunity of Media and Tech Corporations allsides.com/blog/democratic… 3. Pushing Media Policy Out of its Rut allsides.com/blog/pushing-me… 4. Proposal #1: Bust Open the Silos allsides.com/blog/proposal-1… 5. It is the 5th installment of my series on fixing public discourse. Published on AllSides Perspectives. See links below to my previous articles. The series, based on my new book, proposes six major initiatives. The first was Bust Open the Silos. This is the second. allsides.com/blog/proposal-2… 1. Here, finally, is my first national proposal. A constitutional, technically-feasible way of injecting counterspeech into major political media platforms. I call it "Bust Open the Silos." #polarization #media #democracy @AllSidesNow allsides.com/blog/proposal-1…

This polemic by @bariweiss ("End DEI") has gotten lots of attention. I found, though, that it was easier to understand if I appended "Because I said so" to the end of each paragraph. tabletmag.com/sections/news/…
