Some of the most meaningful work a coach does happens quietly and without recognition. The lessons you teach, the encouragement you give and the time you invest in your athletes are seeds that can have an impact long after the season ends. 💙

Cross Country flexes at the Lake Murray Invitational
The Wildcat Cross Country teams made the trek to Chapin on Saturday September 19 to compete in the Lake Murray Invitational. Varsity girls started the morning's races with a strong third place finish behind Chapin High School and Hilton Head High School. Jada Metz, Ellie Patangan, Callie Kesterson, Sophie Potts and Cooper Robbins contributed as the scoring five.
Next up, the varsity boys dashed to a first place finish led by Josh Voegele who nearly broke the course record in 15:06.31. Lucas Miedema, Jackson Lee Cannon, Colin Williams and BJ Kennedy rounded out the scoring for the varsity Cats.
The JV squads did not flinch when given their chance later in the morning. The JV girls ran a solid race placing second behind a deep Chapin team. The JV boys, broken into two separate races based on grade level, saved the fireworks for last as both JV squads achieved PERFECT SCORES of 15!

Next up for the Cats, they travel to Greenwood to compete in the Lakelands Invitational Saturday.
