Death would have been less painful if life didn't come with so much struggle. The irony is that when it finally comes, they say you've gone to rest. Is it really rest when you never got to enjoy the fruits of your labor?
Rest in power, Toluwanisings. 🕊️

I will be live on @NewsCentralTV Jasiri this morning by 10am to talk about Kilimanjaro, Summit for Care, breast cancer, and the 20 Nigerian women we’re showing up for and why we believe stories can do more than be seen they can make people care.

We romanticize the success stories and ignore the distribution curve
For every Nigerian footballer who reaches Europe, thousands do not.
The success stories aren't false, but they are statistically exceptional. Yet they are often presented as if they are broadly attainable.

Major cheat code for life: Assume good things are still ahead. You are not behind. You are not too late. You are not disqualified by your past. One new season can change the entire story. Keep showing up with belief. The best chapters are often written after the hardest ones.

Your main purpose in life should be to make sure God is pleased with you, not people.

"As a nation, do we have a database? Because, for security forces to work, for the police to work, we need to have a database. If you go abroad and you commit an offence, it's easier for you to be identified. They get your face, fingerprints, signature, or your picture because they know everything about you. Do we have that? What is delaying us from putting that in place?" — Christopher Musa, minister of defence
History is so important.
We are fighting insecurity with outdated maps and demographic assumption's
Nigeria is planning a future with numbers that expired 19 years ago. A country of 200+ million should not be relying on numbers from 2006.
This is how insecurity grows in the dark.

Food prices is increasing and food insecurity is growing, yet nobody has the vision and capacity to address the selling of farmlands for a quick real estate payout. What are we going to eat in the future? Na concrete we go chop?
I can forgive everything Nigerian politicians have done to us, but hoarding palliatives during the COVID-19 pandemic is unforgivable. I'm not sure we as a country truly grasp the depth of that wickedness.
