I was running late to a meeting today when I noticed a lost dog on the street.
Lots of people were walking around but not a single one gave enough shit to do something about it, even tho the dog was clearly scared and alone.
In spite of the fact that I make $1k/day+ in profit right now and I had to be somewhere important, I ran after the dog all around the neighborhood and made sure it doesn’t run into the road and die before help arrives.
And I’d do it again, no matter how much money it costs me.
Why?
Because if money’s all you got, then you ain’t got much.
