I’m grateful for Fesi Sitake. He has consistently created a strong WR room. He’s taken some guys who were under recruited (Legend, Parker, etc.) and also helped top recruits reach their full potential (Puka, Kasper)
Fesi has consistently produced year in and year out. Can’t wait to see JoJo, Legend, and Kyler ball out this weekend.
(Also the future looks bright with Pula and Saryon nipping at the heels.)
I’m grateful for how BYU has changed the narrative around CB play.
Growing up, CB used to be a position that we schemed around. We just didn’t have the athletes, but over the last five years, it’s been one of the best positions on the team.
Eddie Heckard, Marque Collins, Jakob Robinson, Mory Bamba, Evan Johnson, Tre Alexander, Jayven Williams.
These guys have elevated CB play. And Tre has made it cool to come to BYU from non-traditional backgrounds.
Look forward to seeing them ball out this Saturday.

I still believe in BYU football.
This week, I’m going to post great plays or things I am grateful for every day. I’d encourage you to do the same.
Positive vibes for the program.
I am grateful for Isaiah Glasker’s stellar game against Arizona in 2024. When Isaiah is playing aggressively and downhill, he’s one of the nation’s best LBs.

Through the first 8 weeks, here are the teams that have been a part of one of the top 5 watched games of the week at least three times, btw:
SEC, SEC, B10, SEC, SEC, ND, B10, B10, SEC, BYU, SEC, SEC, B10
If losing didn’t suck this much, the wins wouldn’t taste so sweet. The heights of the Notre Dame win would have never been as high if the lows weren’t as low.
A good and bad thing about being such a passionate fan.
Now let’s get back in the W column this week!
This upcoming week will tell me a lot about the rest of the year with this BYU football team.
Need the coaching staff to adjust. Need team leaders to lead. Every detail matters.

Come on Utah, let’s see you get hyped for Houston! This is the quietest Gameday set I’ve ever been to 🙈
