For the second time in two weeks, an AI agent broke its guardrails, escaped its sandbox, and successfully breached another company's production infrastructure. This isn't theoretical anymore. It's here. Hallucinations. Misuse. Now, autonomous agents breaking boundaries with real consequences. OpenAI and Anthropic's recent announcements signal a new chapter in AI risk. Part 1 of our three-part series on the AI shocks reshaping risk, regulation, and geopolitics → interos.ai/blog/the-evolutio… #SupplyChain #AgenticAI #AI

The U.S. recently announced Section 301 forced labor tariffs for 60 countries—but according to the data, the rates may not match the labor reality. Analysis by interos.ai found that three of the top ten countries with the highest prevalence of unethical labor practices (Mexico, Malaysia, and Bangladesh) were slapped with the 10% tariff rate. Meanwhile, countries such as Switzerland and Japan, with almost no known forced labor, face a 12.5% tariff rate. In a recent conversation with @Inc, our CEO @KrantzTed breaks down why the numbers don’t add up and how these tariffs may be targeting geopolitical tensions rather than just forced labor. interos.ai is proud to be named Supply Chain Visibility Company of the Year by the @TopTechAwards! In an era where disruption is the norm, visibility is the difference between anticipating a supplier failure and explaining one to your board. interos.ai maps 250M+ entities and 11B+ supplier relationships across six risk domains, so your team sees sub-tier risks before they surface, not after they've hit your operations. Thank you to the independent panel of industry experts who recognized this work, and to the supply chain and risk leaders who trust interos.ai every day. 🔗 supplytechbreakthrough.com/2… #SupplyChain #SupplyChainVisibility

Every week another vendor promises AI agents that will run your operations end-to-end. Autonomous decisions. Zero human oversight. It's a compelling pitch, and it's also not where we are, in supply chain or anywhere else. Reliable AI doesn't get deployed. It gets earned. Suggestions that humans validate. Decisions that feed reinforcement learning. Predictive insights that build trust before they ever become autonomous signals. Rush that process and you don't get efficiency. You get confident-but-wrong embedded in your most critical decisions. At interos.ai, we're monitoring 250M+ entities and 11B+ supplier relationships across six risk domains. The technology isn't autonomous yet. The data discipline behind it is rigorous enough that it doesn't need to be. That's what AI in supply chain should look like right now. Most organizations are focused on the headline risks like tariffs, currency swings and commodity controls. What they're missing is the thread that connects all three: sub-tier visibility. When currency fragmentation compresses supplier margins, when rare earth export controls move through semiconductor tiers, when energy shocks work their way into logistics costs, the damage surfaces deep in the supply chain first. Long before it shows up in your operations, your contracts, or your cost structure. As our CEO @KrantzTed writes in his latest piece for @SCBrain, the most resilient organizations won't have the best hedging strategies. They'll have the earliest visibility. AI has transformed data center planning, but there’s one huge bottleneck: climate risk. Our 2026 Predictions Report found that 20% of global data centers are at high risk of catastrophic events during the summer months. 40% of those facilities are in the United States, which hosts more than half of the world’s data center infrastructure. As our CEO @KrantzTed explains in his latest article for @dcdnews, data centers sit at the intersection of land, grid reliability, climate stability, and policy framework pressures, and that simultaneous stress is a huge limiting factor of AI infrastructure. What does AI in supply chain actually look like today? Not unchecked autonomy. Not black-box decision-making. Real AI adoption evolves in phases: recommendations that humans validate, feedback that sharpens the model, and predictive insights that build toward autonomous signals over time. At interos.ai, that process is already underway. Hundreds of data sources are harmonized into a single risk score across six domains, covering 250M+ entities and 11B+ supplier relationships. The human stays in the loop while AI earns trust through validated, actionable signals. Act faster with responsible AI-powered supply chain intelligence from interos.ai. Asia is bracing for more impact to their energy supply chains as the Iran war continues to send ripple effects through the continent. Our CEO @KrantzTed spoke with the @AP about how governments are adapting to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and how energy supply chains are continuing to feel the strain. The bottom line: These complex disruptions will echo across supply chains as a whole, not just energy. Read the full piece from Anton L. Tariffs. Wars. Geopolitical flashpoints. The forces reshaping the global economy aren't slowing down and neither is the pressure on your supply chain. Organizations can no longer afford blind spots. Complete visibility isn't a nice-to-have. It's a survival requirement. That's exactly why we built 𝘪Q. 𝘪Q is interos.ai's second-generation predictive supply chain risk intelligence platform and the first to connect your ERP data directly to our Resilience platform to quantify exposure in dollars and surface AI-driven recommendations before disruption hits. → 𝘪tariffs: See exactly which suppliers are exposed and what it costs you — across Tier 1, 2, 3 and beyond → 𝘪tracing: Product-level visibility mapped to your bill of materials, down to the component → 𝘪reputation: Real-time monitoring for financial distress, foreign influence, regulatory risk, corporate behavior and operational performance The geopolitical landscape is a forcing function. iQ is how you get ahead of it. 🔗 Learn more → interos.ai/blog/predictive-s… #SupplyChainRisk #AI #Tariffs #SCRM #iQ (1/2)

The era of uncertainty is here. Tariffs shifting overnight. Geopolitical flashpoints multiplying. Supplier risk hiding three tiers deep. Today, we're launching 𝘪Q — the industry's first fully productized predictive supply chain risk intelligence platform. One platform. Total visibility. 𝘪Q debuts with three products: → 𝘪tariffs: Quantify your dollar exposure across your entire supplier network — before costs escalate → 𝘪tracing: Product-level risk visibility mapped to your bill of materials, down to Tier 3 → 𝘪reputation: Real-time reputational risk monitoring, updated every 20 minutes And for the first time: 𝘪Q orchestrates your ERP data with our interos.ai knowledge graph platform to surface AI-driven recommendations in the tools and language your teams already use. Risk insight that becomes operational action. Measured in dollars. Tracked to resolution. No more translating risk into business impact. 𝘪Q does it for you. → 𝘪Q is available now for select customers: interos.ai/blog/press/intero… #SupplyChainRisk #AI #Tariffs #SCRM #iQ

Fully autonomous supply chains of record may still be a ways off, but AI is still helping supply chains move closer to full autonomy. As CEO @KrantzTed shares with @ILMagazine , “Unlike AI agents today, ERP systems cannot turn AI loose.” Eventually, after many phases of evolution and reinforcement learning, predictive insights will become those autonomous signals. But until then, keeping a human in the loop is necessary to manage supply chain risk. Read more from the experts here: inboundlogistics.com/article… #SupplyChains #AI #Innovation #Autonomy

For decades, a strong supply chain meant one thing: cost efficiency. That era is over. Geopolitics is no longer a background variable. It's core infrastructure. The same way companies treat cybersecurity or financial risk, they need to treat geopolitical intelligence: built into operations from the start, not bolted on after a disruption forces their hand. That means: 🚀 Mapping where your suppliers are, who influences them, and what external forces could disrupt them 🌐 Moving beyond geography to understand geopolitical alignment across your value chain ⚡ Shifting from reactive firefighting to proactive resilience. The companies that will navigate what's ahead aren't waiting for the next tariff spike or trade restriction to act. They're building now.
